Review:
I bought this car new 1/2002. It has been the best i have ever owned. Great performance even though only 115hp. Good in all weather and rarely gave me any issues. Recently traded it in at 175k miles as the A/C went and i didnt want to pay to fix it though it would have went for another 100k miles. Great MPG and reliability. Traded it in for a BMW 328i which is what i always wanted.

5 speed manual Power even though 115hp Style Power everything and A/C Room in the back seat due to flat floor.

Suggested Improvements
Honda should be ashamed you have to pay for EX level to get ABS and other features.

well, I have bought second hand car, from original owner. Car seems very nice and most important reliable. Gas is very cheap with it. Hope will enjoy it for long time

The civic is and always been a sound , reliable car. Nothing fancy,great fuel economy, and good handling.This car has never left me stranded and has exceeded all expectations.

The looks of it is not bad for an old car, but it never breaks down. I had it for around 7 years now. I spent less money on its maintenance over the last 7 years then I did on my groceries in the last year. For a teenager it would be the perfect car to start with. The looks are sporty, engine is amazing and fuel consumption is so low. Perfect car for a teenager. For an adult though it’s lacking in the looks category but mainly because it is an old car. Overall Honda civic has served me well it is an amazing car

Very nice gas mileage is about the only good thing about this car. Interior is ok could be a little more comfortable and a little more modern. The extirior and the make of the car is very bad especially for canadian winters rusts very easily.

i own this car got it 1 year ago so far its been good to me not the best on gas and body starting to go and lot of road noise but it gets me from a to b

This car has served me well for the past 9 years. I have put over 200,000 km on it with no major problems.

This car has been good to me, its nothing special, but it gets good has mileage. I have not yet to do any major work to this car, only regular maintenance. Airbags were on a recall for this car, something to do with the material breaking down over time.

Great little car, next to problems with it.. It sips fuel on the highway and feels very stable. With a good set of winter tires it ran urprisingly well in the snow. The looks are a little bland but the interior is ok.

I have zero complaints about this vehicle and have owned it for over 6 years now.
Not a single mechanical issue, great fuel economy and generally a very understated car.
All I am buying in the future is upgraded Civics, why change a good thing?

I loved this car. It was fantastic for going back and forth from work, home, and school. Not reliable once one thing breaks. It becomes a chain reaction. Cheap to fix but will fix often.

She's a good reliable auto - maintain them & they work just about for forever! Heated auto mirrors, auto transmission 4 cyclinder - never any accidents!

I've had this car for 10 years now and it has been very reliable. It's great on gas mileage getting around 370km for each fill up and I have never had any major problems.

Currently the car has 120,000 km on it and I have not had to make any repairs. In part, this is due to regular oil changes and good maintenance of the car. It has a fabric interior which has been comfortable especially in colder weather.

The acceleration on the Honda Civic isn't the best but it's certainly good enough for most city driving.

All in all, I'd highly recommend this car.

It's comfy, Smooth riding. And its relaxing and it is a good style and just so excellent its amazing I love it and it is great for a family vehicle

I bought this car to travel to School 7 years ago, This vehicle is THE BEST vehicle I have ever owned. I have been thought the thick and thin with this thing, When I couldn't afford to do regular services she made sure I could still get home to see my family and friends.

I am in a much better place in life and I still own the vehicle. Regardless of being able to have almost anything I want. I spend any amount of money on it now, I can take care of it as it did for me.

I plan on passing this vehicle down to my kids.

i love my car, i get good gas mileage, very dependable, wouldnt want a different car and also is very nice looking

This Honda civic has been very reliable, and has never let me down. It has been through all seasons, and is still running strong!

You can count on the honda civic. It is very reliable and fuel efficient. I once needed to replace the front and easily found the part needed at a really cheap price. It rides smoothly and performance wise I am very satisfied. I wish I took more options back then but even so the basic features do the work. If I had to buy another car that would a more recent model of the civic.

I have had a lot of luck as a second owner to this vehicle. It has 200,000 km on it and still keeps ticking with very little maintenance. Aside from normal wear and tear, I have replaced the wiring in one power window, the wiring from the trunk/gas nozzle latch and the connection to the air conditioning. I say it's a great car for any budget.

Got me where i needed to go for a reasonable price. Easy to control and i felt comfortable out and about. First car i ever drove or purchased and i would never change that. Small but roomy enough for the whole family.

The civics have a reputation for never dying, and it's well deserved. The car will keep running, as long as you give it a little basic love. Its not the most powerful, but its not hungry, and will fit anywhwere.

I love my Honda Civic, I have this car for almost ten years. It doesn't have any major problems compare with my last car ford tempo that I need to spend $$$$ to fixed the break, air condition, power window within 5 years....The fuel economy is amazy. The only downsize is not much room in the back seat. Other than that I love to recommand this car to everyonce.

10 years old with 278,000KM and my car is still running quite smoothly. No major issues with this car, it's been a faithful ride!

This car was the best car I have ever owned!! Fuel economy was excellent and ran extremely well! I owned the car for 6 years. I had to sell because I needed to upgrade to a family vehicle otherwise I would have driven it until it couldn't drive anymore. I sold it with 267,000 KMs on it and I bet it is still going! I didn't purchase a Honda after that and I wish I had.
