Had it for 13 years and it never broke down once. was able to take it anywhere and everywhere because it is amazing, have been riding and enjoying.

Uncomfortable, gutless and overall not impressive. Only plus is good mileage on the 5 speed manual. Typical Ford quality leaves much to be desired. Some decent features standard on the SE but the layout of controls is crowded, and ugly.

seriously the best car i have ever owned if i could get a brand new one i would do this all over again this car died at 400,000 km and i miss it so much no performance problems at all legit. i swapped vehicles not by choice and worst thing i ever had to do legit nothing but good to say about this car. standard was fantastic in snow and just such a good car.

Great car for in the city. It is a 4 cylinder so does not have a lot of get up and go but is very good on fuel. I like the red color.

Beautiful car. Fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Beautiful inside and out. Haven't had any serious problems with this vehicle. Overall a great ride. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

This car does exacly what you need it to. YOu will not be speeding down the highway in it winng races but, if you are tying to get to work, drop the kids off, or do some shopping its perfect. Extremely comfy and modern looking plus has all the new gadgets you need.

I love my car. Would buy another one for sure. Great on gas, very comfortable, fits me perfect. I highly recommend the ford focus. Never any issues. I love the style and performance of this car.

This car is excellent on gas, reliable (I have never felt uneasy and it has never broken down on me), and comfortable. It has a clean-lined interior and exterior.

It is so easy to drive and adjust to The driving is so easy and comfortable for all passengers. The radio is good too

absoloutley fantastic and i extremeley enjoyed its driving feel and smooth crsip driving at speed of up to 120km/h

Since we bought that car our life became so much imple.
We tough we would have so many problem with a used car but in the final so far the only thing we have changed is a beering.
So after all for a 2000 this car is confortable, luxurious, stable and mechanic is still good and cheap if you need to do some repair.
Color of the interior might be a little bit awckward with only tint of beige but its the only thing bad i have to say about the model. I like Ford alot and will probably go for another focus when that one gave up on us. If you are wondering if a old Ford Focus is the ride for you just remember this. Its reliable even after 17 years.

3 weeks after i got the car brand new there was a problem with the clutch. I took to it to the dealer and there replaced it. 2 months later the same problem came up.

Never any problems with this car. Great car for getting around economically with good fuel efficiency.

I bought this car brand new and I love it. I can drive forever and rarely stop to get gas. A extremely reliable car and fun to drive

I am lucky in that this is the car I learned to drive in, and I was fortunate to be able to do so. This car has all the features one could ask for, and then some. It is fun to drive, feels very safe and is reliable through typical BC weather.

One of my favourite features which I believe is unique to Ford and is on more than just the Focus, is the blind spot mirrors. I know other vehicles have blind spot mirrors, and you can buy and attach after market ones as well, but the ones built into the Ford mirrors are well designed in shape and size, and really help to fill in the gaps in vision.

If you are looking for a reliable daily driver that is on the smaller size, I would highly recommend the Ford Focus hatchback.

but the car second hand. had a few small problems with it but overall have been happy with it..over 200,000 kms on it's still going strong

good car , not to espansive to run, good fuel economy but not the best, . I still have the original transmission and clutch so good transmission. I have the ZX5 version great look the only minus is : when i want to drop the back sit to have a larger trunk you always have to advance the front sit and take off the head protection of your back sit first. they should have made this easier to drop the back sit.

strong and reliable and has been running great ever since. I love the set up inside and how easy it is to find things especially when driving.

The car performs well, but it rattles at higher speeds. The sound system is great, good truck space, great heat system, and car is stylish. With proper maintenance, haven't had any major issues.

The CVT is terrible, acceleration if you have to slow down and start again, it will be very jumpy or without power for several seconds, there is no middle ground.

In the 4 years I have had it, had 2 issues with the direction. I expected better reliability. I don't hit pot holes, very careful about this. I have never had to fix my direction like this before, on much older cars included !

Oversteering during acceleration is pretty bad.

The sync system, voice recognition is terrible, you have to learn it's language, it will not learn yours. I had several freeze ups on my USB key music. (you have to make sure that your media files do not have unwanted characters in the meta data). Doesn't like hot days, about 30C, ahahah Have fun getting your sync to work.

Bluetooth, after 4 years starts to forget my phone whenever it feels like it... (I did a factory reset of the phone thinking it was the problem, no go.)

Otherwise, it's an ok car, good gaz mileage with the cruise control, no so city friendly,

I recently purchased a used Focus, and hands down it is the best car for the money I have ever had the pleasure of owning. It is extremely comfortable, and responsive. The heated seats are a God send in the cold of winter, and the layout of the vehicle is both comfortable and functional. I cannot recommend this car enough for those looking for a dependable, comfortable, and enjoyable car.

Purchased this car to replace an 07 Focus SES and was blown away at how it has matured.
Ride is much smoother then the 07 model yet maintains great handling performance.
Engine is quiet and smooth but can growl nicely when pushed.
Interior is cozey, comfortable seats and full featured climate control.
Navigation and entertainment are easy to use.
The only 2 issues i have that i did not rate 5 stars on are as follows.
1: During spirited driving the transmission shift strategy needs a little work.
2: Fuel economy. You would think on a car 10 years newer there would be some improvement in fuel economy but it actually lost .2L/100 compared to the 07 SES.
Overall the car is still amazing and a joy to drive.

It's easy to drive. Good looking with affordable price. I use this car every single day and night. I'm happy to own this car, and would like to share my opinions. This car also have cheaper insurance rates. The drawback may resulted from the fuel efficiency, which is not so good.
