Ford Focus 1997-2017Change

I have never had a problem with this car. It goes and goes and goes. Nothing ever seems to die in it. Very good on gas. My only problem with it is the noisy cab, but it was nothing I could not live with. Good Car!! I definitely recommend.

Nothing but great reviews from me, I love this car and it kills me to let it go! It handles great, has good braking, and good power! Definitely more powerful than most near stock 2.0L cars out there! The black on black with red accents also make it look really sharp.

I have owned this vehicle since new (Oct 4, 2004) and have always had it serviced on schedule and maintained at the dealership where it was purchased.
It has been a very reliable vehicle and the only time it has stranded me was due to the battery finally dying after almost 9 years. It has a new battery now (Sept 15, 2013).
It would be a perfect vehicle for anyone with dogs or a small business.
Only selling it because a new vehicle has been purchased and room is too tight for both.

This car is a fantastic car for anyone that needs a small car to get to work or just get around. It gets great full economy and has had absolutely no mechanical problems. USB and Bluetooth are great features for hands free calling and voice commands.

This car looks great, is fun to drive and is very spacious. The focus wagon is also very reliable and reasonable to repair. Great Car!

I go from a Shelby GT 500 to a Ford Focus on a regular basis and even though they are worlds apart you still get great Ford reliability, style and creature comforts. Tons of space for both passengers and luggage, a bit weak on the engine, but great feeling on the road, responsive steering and suspension makes this one of my favorite city driving cars. I have the manual transmission and gear changes are easy, although the spring in the clutch can give you a sore leg in heavy traffic. Ford SYNC that links your phone and iElectronics is probably one of the most user friendly in the industry and makes this a fun car with a purpose.

I bought this car new and have driven it over 78,000 km with very little problems. I had the stabilization bar replaced about a year ago and just had the front brakes done. I get all the maintenance done regularly so the car is in great shape. It is very good on gas. The trunk is huge for such a small car. So far it has been the best car I have ever owned and I have owned many cars in my life time. I really like the hands free phone and the Sync system. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Decent car, but not reliable. I had wheel bearings, alternator, and pulleys wear out by 60,000km. Was pretty good on fuel. The sync hands free system was pretty good

Bought the car new in June 08. Fully loaded with a manual transmission. I now have 310,000 km on it. Did the front brakes at 217,000 km. The rest of the car is original and has been maintained according to schedule.
I am astounded at the reliability of the car along with the excellent fuel economy. 800 km out of the 50 liter tank in the summer.
I would recommend this car to anyone who needs reliable and affordable transportation.

Trouble free since purchased off lease in 2007. General maintenance completed in 2013 front and rear brakes exhaust as well as a repaired instrument cluster. Excellent fuel economy av. 36 mpg. No collisions needs minor touch up.

I have enjoyed driving this car and used it primarily for business in Eastern Ontario. It has great fuel economy and is very fast on the road so passing is not an issue, lots of power. The GFX Sport package gives it good looks and handles great on the highway. All mechanical operations are kept in excellent condition and have been recently checked and new brakes were installed spring 2013. I know the car will last for many years mechanically. It is a safe car and handles very well in winter with the tractions control. I have not experienced a problem with this car and am selling because I am retiring and do not need two vehicles.

Only reason I am getting rid of the car is i am in need of a truck or suv now. If i could keep the car i would but wouldnt need two viechles. The car has always been good to me, I work out of town and have drove in some pretty bad winter storms and the car has been great.

I have had this car for a while. I have never had a problem with it! It is a great little car and very reliable in the winter. It is great on gas. I would definitely buy this car again in the future.

Over the yrs it's been really reliable. Economical on fuel and very comfortable to drive. Lots of space inside with good size trunk.

My Focus Titanium 5 door Car has been very reliable. The high speed suspension handles especially well although it can be a rougher ride than a standard suspension. I picked the 5 speed manual transmission, and if I have a complaint on this car you its that you can not drive it with winter boots on as the Gas, Clutch and Brake are to close together.On the first snowfall I had my winter boots on and had a very hard time driving the vehicle to and from work that day. Another problem I see is that the front windshield is very large making it a rock magnet . I had to replace my first windshield at 130 km. I also recieved another crack at around 2000 km that cant be fixed other than replacing the windshield. I dont know though. Could just be bad luck. Gas mileage is also lower than advertised.

first, the motor make sthe entire car vibrate. I made a recent trip to toronto from ottawa and my hands were numb from the cars vibrations. Our local dealerhsip said that this is a ongoing issue and have had alot of complaints about it with this car. second, rides terrible, you can feel every bump and crack in the road and alot of road noice. terrible location for the heated seat adjustment, just infront of the center console, you have to reach in and back. fuel millage is good, expected better. maybe had higher expections for this cars fuel economy. Trunk size is modest, can fit 6 tires in there(Hatchback model). a little tight for child car seats. I am 6' and cannot sit in the front seat in which the car seat is behind. handles well in winter conditions with snow tires on it. axcelleration is horrific but cruises well above 110KPH. just rolled 20,000km and no maint req'd yet other then the required oil changes. A good car for teenagers and retired folk. not a recommended buy.

Bought the car new in 2003. Been a really great A-to-B car for me. Very low km's. Canadian winter package was worth it. Started to show its age body-wise in the last 12-18 months but all in all, a really good value. Noticed that synthetic oil really makes a difference in the car's gas mileage, especially in the cold winter months.

This car has never broke down or caused me problems. If I didn't need a bigger vehicle I would be keeping it.

The car is reliable, and efficient on gas. This car has NO accident so far. It is easy to drive and maintain.

This vehicle is not as advertised. The engine has been changed and there is no way to prove how many kms are on the engine. All they can say is that it was bought from a guy in New Jersey. The sunroof doesn't work properly and the car has been in an accident and states no accidents. It was damaged at Steeda where it is being stored. The rear hatch has surface rust as well as around the passenger wheel well. The headliner is falling down and is being held up with thumb tacks. They are not disclosing all in the ad so please be aware of what you are buying. Just a heads up for anyone looking at this vehicle.

Looks great, comfortable ride, cheap on gas, lost of cargo space, this car is reliable, I will miss it. If I could go back in time, I would buy that one again.

The ride is firm but not harsh. Excellent combination of ride and handling. I also like the sound of the engine at startup as it sounds gutsy. This car has more power than any other car in its class. The 6-speed dual clutch transmission is not the best but decent in acceleration and fuel mileage. In short, the Focus goes from a grandma car to a teenage car. Civic, Corolla, Cruize doesn't come close. I believe the Mazda 3 is the only competitor in the class. BTW, spent a week with the cruze and started having back problems as I had back operation several years back. The focus seats are just amazing even after many hours behind the wheel. Can't say enough about this little bombshell.

It has been reliable and good on gas. Car seats are easily secured in the back. I have owned it since new and am just ready to upgrade to a truck.

With blasting sound, open windows and sunroof, riding in GTA and the wind blasting in... Really nice to be in this mini sport style car! Handled dirt, snow, trails without ever getting stuck. True action considering its age.
