Ford Focus 2012Change

I dont really like cars, or driving, but this is the best car I've ever driven! Deffinitly worth looking at! I like how easy it drives, its small, and I feel comfortable driving it!

I have been commuting from Kitchener to London for the last year and a half, and have thoroughly enjoyed driving this vehicle. It is very comfortable, modern, great on fuel, and is very reliable. I have been very adamant about getting regular oil changes (Only dealership maintained - oil changes every 7,000 km). It has a navigation system, blue-tooth, and Sirius Satellite Radio built in, which have all been very useful, and have made this car a pleasure to drive.

What a great car, regardless of price.

The sophisticated traction control and optional sport suspension really makes this car handle; it's a pleasure to drive quickly, in any weather. It's surprisingly quick, even with 4 people aboard, and the autotrans shifts quickly, and smoothly, for performance, ride comfort, and fuel economy.

Service costs after 33,000 km have been pleasantly low; the local dealer service dept really seems interested in how I feel about the car, how it runs, and what they're doing. And there haven't been any of those surprise $100 charges to "check that everything is OK".

The fuel economy for a car which will carry 4 or 5 people and their stuff, quickly, is incredible. What a well-engineered package! I'm surprised I don't see more of them on the road.

I hear so many people complain about the dual clutch system on the new eurpean engines that ford is using in the 2012 or new cars. you can feel a slight gear shift on the automatic transmittions but people... this is a good thing... it saves you tones of money on fuel
there is no reason for stress this is a great car

Bought brand new and only wish i bought the winter package, heated seats and mirrors. I have 2 tone leather interior power one touch windows, great little car.

The Ford focus is an extremely comfortable car. Made for busy people who drive around all day. The interior design really make the hectic day more comfortable. It is extremely reliable and it hasn't let me down to this day.

One of the best cars out there for the money. Very sporty and has great fuel economy. Handling is unreal and the drive quality is astounding.

If your looking for a car that you can depend on, to get you through the winter months with no problem or long summer drives with out having to stop at the pumps. this is the car for you we have loved the car for that fact but the only problems we have is we have alot of things that need to be pluges in ie..GPS, Phone charger and seat warmer and all can not be pluged in and thats a big hassle at times. Also I have to do alot of driving for work and there isnt alot of space for everything. but all in all this is a very reliable car and very happy .

I've driven the 2012 Ford Focus SEL Hatchback for just over a year and have great praise for it. Let's clear away 2 important items first: 1) you aren't going to see anywhere near the published fuel economy numbers, and 2) the MyFord Touch with Sync system is not nearly as bad as reviews have made it out to be. It may be a little "funky" but that amounts more to personality than to the scathing reviews the system has received. But overall, the Focus offers a reassuring level of quality for a vehicle at this price point. It's extremely quiet at highway speed. It's sure footed and offers a very comfortable ride. Interior space is good upfront but a little limited in back. Visibility out takes some adjustment as the A pillars are "fat" due mostly to additional acoustic material but overall it's not a serious issue. It's definitely a solid car. Clearly Ford has things figured out and is truly headed in the right direction.

Car handles pretty well, looks good, gets great gas mileage on the highway, ok on city miles. Some good accessories.

Great on gas but the back seat area is quite small with very little leg room. Headlight control button is on front of dash in the area where your knee rests. This button can press against your knee and be annoying. Gutless on highway. Revs high in 5th speed.

Never lets me down ,perfect for in town and highways, good on gas. Second Focus we have purchased and even bought one for our daughter as we know they are a reliable car. The new color is super too neither green or blue

Great car. Got it with all the bells and whistles. 7 ltrs per 100 kms on avererage. Interior does not feel cheap like other brands. I passed on the park assist. Seems to get better fuel economy right after an oil change, do not know why? this package has nice rims and a decent set of tires on it. Seats all fold down in the back to expand the rear trunk space, which is nice. Eceleration is good and it has a peppy engine for the size of it. the sync and navi is a nice feature, although the voice activation could use more than a little inprovement. it get frustrating quicky and is more of a distraction when driving.

I purchased my Focus later in 2012 in order to replace a larger SUV as a commuter car. My fuel bills went from over $500/month to less than $200/month.

I get about 7.6L/100Km with my winter tires on, and about 6.9L/100Km with my summer tires.

Great little car I would recommend to anyone who needs a commuter vehicle with great mileage.

the new exterior is terrific beautiful kinda lik europeen style i love it and the interior is nice and all the options its really a smooth ride with ford wheter its with the focus or f-150 I always enjoy a ride in em!!

This vehicle is a smooth, quiet ride with excellent handling and milage. Compared to a minivar, which I used to drive, this car is a sleek cat next to a lumbering hippo. The Ford Focus has alwasy gotten me to my destination with a minimum of trouble and irritation.

I've had this car since april 2012 and I love it. It has plenty of room for my wife and two children. The Ford Sync system works great for making calls without taking my hands off the steering wheel and the service from the Ford dealer is unbeatable. Very affordable as well.

it was amazing the way the car parked itself. the car's interior was very comfortable and out of this word spacious. the cruise system was great, the motor was very smooth, gas consumption very down to earth. the color of the car was the best red possible anyone could have chosen for a car. the car's radio was very modern and the speakers had a great sound

excellent, i really like it, the fuel economy is excellent and it drives really nice. i would like more trunk space but it is a hatchback so i sacrificed it when i decided to not get the sedan.
i got it in black but the aqua blue is pretty, i would recommend getting the winter package, the seat warmer are great.
i really, really like it but it was expensive because money does not grow not trees.
i got the sun roof but i am not really fond of it because i do not like sun roofs in general.
you can get it customized with different features, like special rims and interior fabric, it comes in leather but i did not get it, i got the fabric but i think the leather would be nicer especially with the heated seats

I had to drive it too believe it. This car actually almost parks its self!! Great for the drivers who take 20 minutes to park!! A great car.

I do like this car, and I know Ford is going to win awards with this car...again...

BUT - they claim 5.4 Litres/100KM's - that's blatant false advertising, I'm VERY light on the gas, and brakes and the best I can average with this car is 6.3 mostly highway (in the part of Onatrio I live most of the highways are 80KM, and I usually stick pretty close to that) - but typical 'mindless' driving I get 6.6. My 2000 Nissan Sentra gets better mileage than that.

They also use a sneaky trick in their ads using metric gallons when they say it gets 58 MPG...

Anyways I hope this helps someone else before they get too excited about how great this car will be (it is pretty good, don't get me wrong, I was just expecting it do get better than 40MPG pretty much all the time).

oh my goodness this car is amazing. it looks gorgeous inside an out. the car handles like a dream. i am partial to the standard. it is way more fun to drive than an automatic. the fuel economy is great. i am coming off of owning a mini van. i think that the focus is definitely the best bang for your buck.

this car handles really well makes you feel like you in a space ship has great power i like the take off the braking is good the battery is in the dumbest place and hate all the eninge covers
