2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Nice ride and handling, great fuel economy
If you keep up with the maintenance as per the owners manual this vehicle will never let you down, the four cylinder is very economical on fuel, I like the automatic transmission (easier to drink coffee when driving) it has a smooth ride and handles great, my Mother in law has one and is still going strong at 436000 km.

Been a great car
We bought this car in 2008, and have had a great time with it. It has a great deal of room and features, good in the snow and lots of go on the highway.

Speedy and comfy Point A to B
I have owned my PT Cruiser for the past 2 years and I am thoroughly impressed! It does not go fast out of the blocks... but once past 2nd gear, this car surprisingly roars up to speed! I would not be surprised, if this had one of the top speeds at a quarter mile!
Interior is comfy and spacious, but I think chrome and retro would have been even better, but nothing to complain about!
In my city - St. John's with the tiny and misshapen roads, the windshield bars, are often too much of a blind spot... but just means slower speeds... centre of the road, when possible, for safety sake! I love this car and agree that it does feel regal, if not English Black Cab like!!!

Great price for a great car!
This car drives like a dream. Very quite and handles well.
With very low mileage, city driven with very little highway driving.
It does have a few minor scratches on the bumpers. Broken post lock, but opens with keyless entry.

Okay.
The PT cruiser is an okay car. Alright to drive around in, but not to great to be seen in. The outside may look bad, but the interior is worse. The doors invade the space and the backseat can sit 3, but really only fits 2 comfortably. It performs well, but not terrific. It's an okay car.

Styling
One of the best cars out there. Very affordable used and inexpensive and infrequent repair bills. You can fit a lot in here. The trunk is not overly large with all the seats in, but you have a 1/3 and 2/3 seat split that fold up or come out.

Great ride but comes with some problems.
The 2007 PT Cruiser is a great vehicle that is easier on fuel than most other cars on the road. However, it's lack of power makes it terrible on fuel in comparison to other 4 cyl engine cars on the road.

The body features a stylish classic look while the interior is small and is cheaply made with plastic.

The car parts seem to fail quickly. This car has had known problems with Crank sensors, transmissions, serpentine belts and starters.

These are pretty affordable and do offer a unique design, but it fails to impress shortly after driving it.

I would say find another vehicle rather than choosing a PT Cruiser.

PT Cruiser Convertible
So far the PT Criuser has been okay, gas economy isn't the best, some minor repairs. The convertible has little trunk space and has seating for 4. It has good performance on the road.

PT Terrific
I have nothing but good things to say about the PT. Reliability is incredible this with car. And when I have repairs they are typically small. $150 for wheel barrings or tie rod. Low cost repairs and infrequent. I find these are easy to get in and out of. Your up, but not too far up in the driver's seat. There is TONS of room in these. With the seats coming out in the back you can fit some large things and with it being a hatchback they can be high in height too.

Loved the looks but love stops there
Had it for 2 weeks as a rental but been wanting to test drive it ever since it was on the market.
I really liked the design but I have to stop there.
I didn't find the car comfortable, I was getting claustrophobic inside (the 1st and only time I had this feeling in a car).
Average on gas, noisy engine.
The interior didn't impress me much but just like the exterior it's just a matter of taste.
Looking at its price, I wouldn't buy it after the experience I've had.

Rented this PT
As a rental in Vancouver, it offered a smooth ride with lots of room. Gas consumption was reasonable for a car of this size. While not expensive, our relatives were impressed with the quasi regal aura it offered when we pulled into their driveway. Our rental was too short to see how well this car would do in the long haul. Chances are it follows in the footsteps of other Chryslers and will be living on borrowed time after 10 years. The back seats were also easy to clean. They're outer material didn't let spills absorb- quite useful if you have kids.
