BMW M 1987-2017Change

This car has been the greatest ride ive ever been in! Super comfortable and the body just looks amazing. The only down fall is the fuel mileage.

The m3 is a must have, it fulfills all the characteristics a sports car needs. With the top speed of 330 it is a really good trill drive. The car is reliable if maintained and the features it has are really unique with the 3 different types of driving styles. the only problem with the car is the fuel it take but other than that its a good car with a really nice exterior look as well as a nice sporty/luxury look on the inside. the problem i usually face with these types of cars is leg room but with the m3 i had no problem what so ever. would highly suggest this car for someone who is looking for a sports car.

Recently bought this car and finally got to drive it. The car is really smooth and easily driven as well. The interior design is the best!

Car has a very sleek and elegant design from the interior and exterior. M3 has enough HP to make views in awe. Would definitely recommend!

I like it because it has a good brand but to be honest it doesn't have a very smooth look and it looks square.

The car is a balance between luxury and race car. It is astonishing fast and even faster when you drive it with Mpower. When driving it in the city the drive is smooth however it will be unfair to compare the smoothnes with luxurious cars such as BMW 7 Series or Mercedes Benz S550. I love the exterior of the car. Interior could have been better. The leather seats will make you feel you are driving a sports car.

Negativity:

Fuel consumption is bad. However, I know BMW has worked on that in their newer models.

Overall: I love my car.

its a family car with 4 doors but preform like a sport car. 400hr power.
no matter what speed and what road condition is will take any carve with no problem.
it accelerate from 0 to 200km/hr in 17 seconds.
all this and its a full size sedan car.
nice 6 speeds manual transmission powered with 5L v8 which make music over 5000rpm

the car phenomanal it rides smooth the handling is great and when u turn corners u do not slide around i would definately recommend the car to family and friends the style in and out is no other like it the car has style

my uncle has this car and he takes me everywhere in it. i love it it looks nice its fast and its comfortable to sit in in a tall kid and when u usually sit in car in squished but this car i'm not and when I get my licence in 4 months this is the car i'm going to get.

Bang for your buck! My E46 M3 gives you everything you want in a real sports track car. This M3 is a very firm ride, outstanding cornering, braking, and horsepower. I owned one for 4 years and had not one breakdown, or major service issue. The 3.2L inline 6 engine is reasonable on fuel, but it is a high performance engine, keep that in mind. I miss this car, but love my new M3 V8!!!

My BMW M3 is the most fun car I have ever owned. I have owned previous BMW models, however the 4.0L V8 is amazing. Horsepower, cornering, braking is a blast. Comfortable Sport seats, great 6 Speed gear box, and all the technology from BMW, you know you are driving a high performance machine.
Parts and service are expensive, fuel economy is not that of a 335i, but while you are driving the car you easily forget about all of that!

I really enjoyed the 3.2-liter inline-six. This engine was also used in the last-generation BMW M3 and is still a joy on twisty roads. According to BMW, it will sprint from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and the top speed is 155 mph. Not every car needs a V-8 to be fun, especially on public roads. The inline-six also offers a type of smoothness that makes the Z4 M fun when you aren't flogging it.
I frequently forget this car exists, which is a shame. It's a great choice for topless driving and offers a superb combination of comfort and performance. Perhaps a touch soft for an M car, but that's not really a problem with our broken roads.
I was blessed with perfect weather during my short time with the M Roadster; the kind of weather that convertible owners dream about. Needless to say, I didn't do any top up driving in the M but my top down experience was top-notch. Even though this car is engineered to be driven at nine tenths, it is just as competent at two tenths. The engine is remarkably smooth and eager and the shifter is perfectly placed. The cabin is surprisingly tight even for someone of my small stature, which is only exacerbated by the heavily bolstered seats. This is not to say, though, that I don't like the seats. They are supremely comfortable and those bolsters do a great job of keeping you planted when the road gets curvy.

Love this car. Even with newer models out, this one still manages to pique my interest and break necks wherever it goes

I and a'lot of the people that i drive with like the fact that there's comfort and still a grate look to it i've had my Model (M5) BMW for just over a month but i still love it , ill be letting you know how my experience goes i dont think ill be changing cars soon ,.

I bought this car just this year and i love it and ita fun time drive. But it is not to fuel efficent well at least the way i drive it..... but ithink it is one of the best cars out there cause when you go cruising down the road you catch alot of peoples eyes.

This car is a dream to drive. First release of the "M" Roadster to be compared with the Z3. This engine is fast with a lot of torque. Excellent handling and just pure fun.

Well, in today's world of 300 HP entry luxury sedans, not to mention Turbo inline 4 family sedans packing 270+HP, 333 HP of E46 generation of BMW M3s may seem tame.

But I will tell you, it is not. It will snarl to 8000 rpm all day and sound glorious doing it again and again. No, it doesn't have the instant thrust of BMW's venerable twin and single turbo inline sixes, but this is somewhat like 993 generation of Porsches 911 in that this is the ultimate and last naturally aspirated inline 6 of BMW.

And even though the Engine is a big part of this car's character, by no means is it everything. (only about 80% of the character.. the other 20 would be handling. :) )

but regular 3 series typically drive so well that often, especially in rush hour traffic, this magnified character becomes a flaw rather than a benefit.

Suspension is sharper(and rather hard) and engine is noisier by some margin. and you can't escape the feeling that it is still based on a regular 3 series sedan. it pretty much looks the same, and during regular drives, drive pretty much the same as well.

i love this car its been a part of my life from now on till a long time. I love the design of it and its performance is outstanding

Great ride with great speed. Its comfortable and I choose a BMW. Its not over price or to cheap. its just right. Its handling is spot on and its looks great on the road. My friends and family are jealous that I have such a great ride!
