BMW M 1987-2017Change

I have had many many sports cars over the years and this is no doubt the tastest best handling one I have ever driven. It is complete and all upgrades reviewed and checked by very experienced mechanics. TOO Many toys -too little time - may cry actually.

I owned a 1983 BMW 633Csi for 5 yrs before trading up to this M6. Absolutely love this car. Great to drive. Fast and fun. Its soo nice to drive a well built car, feel proud behind the wheel and be respected by other drivers. Its gets attention, but its good attention.. Class, Style.. sophisticated. Its not any sports car. Its makes people look twice cause the styling is so classic and relevant. If you don't like strangers saying things like "nice beast", "always wanted one", "such a classic" or the likes.. then this is not the car for you. On the highway, it was easy to go 120 and over cause you just don't feel it. You won't regret this car. Give it a little TLC, change the oil and Tune it regularly and it will always be a pleasure to own. Own it now, as its only appreciating in value.

V10 monster will get you where you need to be in comfort and with style but won't pass many gas stations.

I've owned 2 generations of M5's. My current one, the 500HP V10, is a tame daily commuter with performance dialed down. But press the 'M' button on my steering wheel which is programmed to crank up the gear shifting speed, kick in the full 500 HP and tighten the suspension for race track performance and you get blown away. It's amazing this thing is street legal. Best performance for the money by far if you ignore the Corvette which isn't close to the same league as the M5 in terms of quality, comfort and finish.

I have only driven this car for a short period and it is an amazing vehicle. Its like a rocket ship on rails and you have to be pretty gutsy to open this car up. Its responsive with exceptional handling. The SMG transmission takes a bit to get used to, but once mastered you will love it. I understand that the E46 is one of the most reliable BMW's ever built. This car is a show stopper!

smile every time I drove it. the sound is so good too. the v10 is a musical instrument.
People complain about SMG reliability but it depends how you use the car. I personally very well took care of it

This car is suitable for any occasion, and will not disappoint. Very reliable, and value holds very well when slightly used.

Owned for 5 years, car is remarkable to drive, almost too good because no paved road challenges it anywhere near the speed limit. Supremely comfortable and truck holds gear for 4 golfers. Draw back is poor economy (and range), but the sounds of that engine are beautiful. Most people cant believe its already 8 years old, interior has held up very well.

This car blew my mind every time I drove it, the speed, the feel, the look, the M3 badge screaming out on the car. Every Time I drove the car whether I be in a good mood or a horrible mood , it would put a smile on my face and remind me on how lucky I am to own a vehicle of this caliber. You can watch any review, youtube, post and they all say the same thing,,,,this is one of the best sports most complete sports cars ever made.

handles are breath taking...
low end torque out of the hole but long 7500 power band this baby rips.

Nice sports car with high performance, the neat interior designs makes it one of the best BMW sports car.

This car does everything well. From daily driving to the race track, the e46 M3 can do it all, and excel.

Novigation system display was designed by people who do not drive this car. Tiny letters in thin black cannot be read on the bacgroubd of grey or even dork gray color. Have a magnifying glass handy. Plethora of tiny buttons with some tiny indications what they are makes drivind treatures, unsafe. almost nothing you can do on the fly: must stop to change a setting or end up in a ditch or in adjasing lane. Voice commands are numerous and take your attention from driving to see them on the screen rather to keep looking where you go. This is ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE IS ALTIMATELY NOT DRIVER FRIENDLY.

Nothing beats this car - its a fantastic mix of power, performance and luxury all wrapped up into a perfect package. A car for the ages and will definitely be a collector at some point.

Best sedan on the road today. Pure luxury with sports car performance. All the amenities of a family 4 door car, but under the hood lies a monster engine. Casually drive around town in normal mode, press the M button and the car comes to life. WOW!! Nothing beats it!!

Fast and smooth as glass...best car I've ever owned.The 50-50 weight ratio is absolutely amazing. Corners effortlessly and takes out the big boys and they have no idea what just showed them nothing but tail lights

This car is no doubt the king of its category. Absolutely easy to drive in the city or day to day or long commutes and at a same time you know the V8 beast is just a tick away to provide you the thrill of a life time.
M3's traction is amazing, no body roll, and stearing is like point and shoot.
Power is intoxicating! Its looks and silverstone colour make this beast stand out. And on the top that amzing exhaust sound, you are bound to fall in love with this car!
Almost all the options are included plus, Iphone/Ipod link, anti theft system are on top of every option.

My experience with this car was great i rented this car for a week and believe me i thought about keeping it. Sadly I don't have enough money but i am defintly saving up. This car is small but worth every penny (expensive).

this car is the best performance sedan car i ever drove. very few cars have the combination of this:
- 400 horse power V8
-6 speeds manual transmission
-rear wheels drive
- 4 doors
first. the styling of the car is just amazing inside and outside. timeless classic beauty.
performance is just crazy. 0 to 100km/hr in less then 5 seconds and it will keep going strong
it can handle any curve at any speed with zero problem with the computer stability system on. turn it off and the car will be unleashed like a wild animal burning rubber and drifting.
the throttle response in sport mode very fast . the sound of the engine very smooth until you start climbing above 4000rpm and it will sound like a racing engine.
its an amazing car you will find any excuse to drive it. it get great 10 km/litter gas millage when drive it gently and on highways. but drive it like a racing car and the gas millage will drop really down. they are very affordable now compared to when they where new. it a must car for any one want to experience the ultimate driving machine

This is a car that turns heads without being over the top. For me it has been the most enjoyable vehicle I have ever owned. I have never driven a vehicle screams to be driven and can be enjoyed on a quiet cruise or negotiating traffic on a busy highway.

Absolutely amazing car all around. Extremely agile and fast. Best car I've ever owned by a long shot.

just amazing thats really all i can say, bmw makes some of the best cars out there i will never buy a different brand this is my favorite european style car

This car is satisfying. I sort of meets all the expectations in mind.
A little outdated but can live with it.
