amazing car
very fun to drive. a powerful 360 hp engine balances speed and comfort . classic design and roomy back seat and trunk space .. average on gas consumption but not terrible for a V8 engine

You can't beat German Technology
I absolutely love the way this car handles and rides. It's quiet inside, so you don't feel tired after a long trip. The fuel economy was a surprise from the start of ownership. If I keep my speed in the 115 km territory I can get 6.8 L/100km, How's that for efficiency? I love to looks of the vehicle and it still drives and handles like new.

Amazing ride - one of the best BMWs
The 5 series E-60 is one of the best BMWs I have ever driven (I also own a 2013 328 xDrive & a 2008 335i)
The car is very solid and reliable and never broke down (as long as you do the preventive maintenance and take good care of it)
Relative to the performance; that 4.8 V8 engine with 362 Bhp is one of the best engines with much power and being naturally aspirated it gives you an amazing feel with no turbo lags and most importantly no turbo break downs and other issues. Although the engine 4.8 L, but the fuel consumption is amazing (almost the same as my 335i with 6 cylinder engine !!)
The ride is smoother and more comfortable and the vehicle is spacious inside and in my opinion is way better looking than the new 5-series

best driving car for highways
This car has the feel of a sports car M5, because of the M suspension i guess....it is immaculate on the turns. Never looses grip ever. Gas mileage is excellent i should say. it gives me gas mileage of honda accord. it is the best car of my life i should say.

The Any-Weather Ultimate Driving Machine
As someone who choses to live outside of the city limits my search criteria for an automobile has to be more needs-based often sacrificing fun for function. 4-wheel or all-wheel-drive is a must as well as room enough for 4 persons to sit comfortably. This often translates into truck or SUV. I consider myself an automobile enthusiast and I spend countless hours serching all options to try and find a vehicle that I'm happy with. For my most recent purchase I decided I was tired of following my practical side and decided to go for something fun. I was sick of purchasing vehicles that, although met my needs, I grew bored with within a year and couldn't wait to sell and move on to something different. It was by chance I happened upon the 2007 BMW 530XI. Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of owning a BMW. This 530XI semed to blend all the pratical elements I needed with that element of fun I was missing. It's wonderful to drive. The comfort of the seats is great for long road trips but still have enough support for more spirited driving. Leg room up front is great (as I am a taller individual) and even the leg room in the rear seats is adequate for adults. What really impresed me was the X-Drive. The road conditions where I live (rural Alberta) can get dicy sometimes and the 530XI seems to handle ice and snow effortlessly. Fuel economy isn't bad considering the all-wheel-drive and I have been seeing averages of 7L/100kms. Reliablility hasn't been that bad either although I did have a few minor issues early on. Thank goodness for that BMW extended warranty! To summarize, it's the perfect blend of fun and practical. If that's what you're looking for in your next car you might just want to give the BMW 530XI some thought.

What do you expect -- it's a Bimmer! :)
This car is absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Luxury everything, and all kinds of useful features like traction control, AWD, etc., etc.

Great fuel economy, too (7.8 L / 100 km highway, 10.9 city).

Love this car!!
This is one of the many BMW's I have owned and this is the one liked the best. The design and the shape of the car was what got me loving this car. Great handling, sporty, spacious and with all the luxury you expect with a BMW. The car has been exceptionally reliable without any mechanical or electrical issues. Cold weather package makes this care a breeze to drive on the cold days. Heated seats, heated steering wheel, and dual controls for the driver and passenger sides. It has many cool options that I never noticed before. Fuel mileage is also very good.
