Fun car to drive with the six speed manual, very reliable and
the styling is not bad either. tons of room in the trunk for groceries can be used as a family car or a take cruise on a sunday

This sport-luxury car is extremely comfortable and reliable. It has a sharp look on the exterior design that turns heads. I receive a lot of compliments on it when people first see it. Plenty of back seat and trunk space so that you can carry whatever you need. The sound system is fantastic for a stock premium system. If you're looking for something nice and reliable and also really fuel efficient this is something you should consider.

Most reliable car I ever owned. Very fuel efficient. Great power. Handles very well. Being 4 door excellent interior and spacious. Handy for baby car seats and to transport seniors or person's with disabiities. Very spacious tranks for baby carriages as well as senior's walkers.

Pros: Excellent fuel economy on highway, handles very well, good styling, very good reliability

Cons: Back seat tight for 3 adults

Generally a great car, and made it Japan. Unfortunately, my HID unit died (either bulb or socket) 3 times in 8 years. Not happy about it. Also, my Acura dealership killed my CD play in the head unit when they were fixing the warranty defects on the LCD's; neither them nor Honda Canada took responsibility, therefore, will never buy an Acura or Honda ever again.

I have driven this vehicle for almost ten years and never had one major issue so far! I trust Acura and their quality is unmatched.

Its extreemly reliable. Comfortable, and HIgh end interiour.

I have had this car almost 8 years and had no issues. It is smooth, handles very well, still looks like new and has lots of power for a 4 cyclinder.
Not the best in snow but has never let me down either.

I have had this car since new (9.5 years) and it has cost me very little to run. It has good performance and handling as well as being comfortable. You cannot go wrong with the first generation TSX. Reliability has been excellent. Highly recommended

Since this car, my confidence level with Honda/Acura boosted up a lot. The car is very reliable even with a high mileage.
This car is a perfect fit for those who wants luxury as well as the performance with its 200hp 2.4L engine.
The design is also attractive to the female drivers, the fit which is missing from other cars.
I especially like the quick response when I step on the gas.
The car boasts its reliability being the Honda luxury brand car. I would definitely recommend to my friends and family.

After 4 years of ownership and 45,000KM, I was told that the break pads needed to be replaced.

I agreed to have it done at the dealership and since then, I've been bringing back my car to the dealership for break problems. After almost two years of horrific customer service at the dealership AND head office... I just traded it in and vowed never to buy a Honda product again.

NEVER BUY HONDA!

Loved driving this car! Drives really smoothly and is very comfortable. Great sound system. I love the heated seats in winter. It's a COOL sports car - proud to drive it. Hate to see it go, but we have to move to be a one big car family with 3 kids!

The Acura TSX debuted with its sights aimed directly at BMW's 3-series, Audi's A4, Mercedes C-Class, and every other entry-level luxury sports sedan marque. The results? A sporty handling comparable car. Half of the success is attributed to Honda departing from it's Japanese-derived fleet and simply taking the Accord Euro as the platform for the TSX. The Accord Euro, as known in Europe (duh!) is basically the TSX and has a stiffer suspension, smaller exterior dimensions, and a design different from the USDM Honda Accord. All of these decisions make it the perfect candidate for entry and comparison in a Euro-dominated segment. Overall reliability and build-quality is great on the TSX. However, some issues plague this model such as short-life on OEM batteries, AC compressors, and clutch master cylinders.

I previously had a 2004 Acura TSX. The car performed really well in the first couple of years, but started having issues with my brakes where they were replaced several times. There was a recall due to faulty brakes for the same in the US but the recall was not extended to Canada although both cars are made in Japan. So was disappointed with that aspect. Other than that the car was satisfactory.

I have had no issues with this car. I have only had to replace regualr wear items, i.e. tires, brakes, oil change etc. Car handles great and has more than enough power. Fuel economy is reasonable. Lots of room in the front and back seats.
