If you're looking for a midsize sedan with fuel economy as a priority, then the Camry is probably one of the first places you should look. They?ve been making a class leading mid-size sedan and a class leading hybrid for a long time. The hybrid takes the tried and true Camry formula and adds a 2.5L four cylinder and electric motor to get a total of 200 hp, while returning 5.6 L/100 km city, 6.2 highway. Unlike the Ford Fusion or Hyundai Sonata hybrids, the Camry hybrid is available in sport appearance SE trim as well. Even with Camry's SE sport trim, the competition does driving engagement better, but Camry ranks high for interior space, a smooth and comfortable ride, ergonomics and trunk space. The car was redesigned for 2015 with new front and rear, interior, and a significantly stiffened bodyshell, so there are no real changes for 2016.
The 2016 Camry hybrid comes in three trim levels. LE is the base and gets a new 6.1-inch touch screen stereo with USB, a backup camera, dual-zone climate, power windows and locks, push button start, keyless entry, and an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat. SE adds a leather wrapped wheel, aluminium sill plates, heated suede front sport seats, power adjustment to the passenger side, 17-inch alloys, and unique changes to the suspension and bumpers.
Top trim XLE gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen with JBL 10-speaker stereo and navigation. The heated seats are also upgraded to leather and there are unique 17-inch wheels.
