Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the rearview camera image not to display. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when the transmission is shifted into reverse gear. Note: This recall only affects vehicle equipped with full self-driving computer version 4.0 and running a software release version from 2023.44.30 through 2023.44.30.6, or 2023.44.100. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tesla has released an over-the-air software update to fix this problem. There is no further action required if your vehicle has software release 2023.44.30.7 or a later release. Tesla will notify affected owners by email.

Safety Risk: A driver that doesn't pay close attention while using the Autosteer feature or who doesn't react quickly when Autosteer is canceled could have an increased risk of a crash. As a result, some vehicle safety features may not work, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning and lane assist. This problem wouldn't give any warnings to the driver that the features aren't working. Safety Risk: Vehicle safety systems that don't give warning when they're not working could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Tesla will notify owners by e-mail and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange an inspection of the front-facing cameras. The technician will adjust the pitch angle of the cameras if necessary.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the front seat belts may not have been reconnected to their anchors correctly during a repair. As a result, the seat belt could detach in a crash. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches in a crash could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection of the front seat belts. The seat belts will be reconnected to their pretensioner anchors, if necessary. If the seat belt can't be connected to its pretensioner anchor correctly, the seat belt assembly will be replaced.

Tesla reminds that FSD Beta is only an advanced driver assistance feature, and the driver must pay attention and be ready to take control at all times when the feature is engaged.
