Mercedes-Benz calls the 2015 SLS AMG GT Final Edition the "grand finale" of the car's scheduled four-year run. Just 350 examples are being made available worldwide (coupe and roadster combined), with a mere 20 allocated for Canadian buyers.

The engine is a 6.2L V8 that makes 583 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, and it's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Standard kit includes ride control sport suspension, limited-slip differential, compound front brake rotors, Comand with navigation and DVD changer, satellite radio, media interface, parktronic, keyless-go, power-folding mirrors, bi-Xenon headlights with washers, airscarf (roadster only), automatic climate control, passive blind spot assist, backup camera, LED daytime running lights, and eight airbags.

Final Edition trim additions include a hood, rear spoiler, mirror covers, and front splitter in carbon fibre, cross-spoke 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) wheels, gloss-back cross struts in the rear apron, 'designo' black exclusive leather diamond-stitch seat and door upholstery, extended carbon fibre interior trim, 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen stereo, Alcantara-trimmed flat-bottom steering wheel, 3D-seam Alcantara dash-top, silver stitching and seatbelts, AMG floormats with silver edging, and an AMG crest embossed into the headrests.
