The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class is all new for 2013. While the SL65 AMG does return for 2013, the SL600 does not. The SL-Class is also available as the SL550 and SL63 AMG.
The SL-Class is available as the SL550, with 4.6-litre Biturbo V8 (429 hp/516 lb-ft with ECO Start/Stop) and seven-speed automatic transmission; as the SL63 AMG, with 5.5-litre Biturbo V8 (530 hp/590 lb-ft with ECO Start/Stop) and seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission; and as the SL65 AMG, with 6.0-litre Biturbo V12 (621 hp/737 lb-ft with ECO Start/Stop) and seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic.
Features on the SL550 include AMG styling package, leather upholstery, LED daytime running lights, PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist, Active Body Control, panoramic Vario-roof, COMAND APS with navigation and six-disc DVD changer, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, ATTENTION ASSIST, PRE-SAFE, 14-speaker 600W harman/kardon LOGIC7 surround sound system, wood/leather steering wheel, and electronic draft-stop. The SL500 is also available with a special Edition 1 package, commemorating the 300SL, with exclusive paint finish, designo exclusive leather in Classic Red, and other styling features.
The SL63 AMG adds an AMG instrument cluster with RACETIMER, Nappa leather 3-spoke AMG steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, AMG DRIVE UNIT with E-SELECT lever and embossed AMG apple tree emblem, AMG sport seats wth AMG-specific seat upholstery, AMG carbon fibre trim, AMG IWC analog clock, illuminated AMD door sill panels, AMG velour floor mats, chrome electronic key, and DINAMICA roof liner. This model is also available with an Edition 1 package.
SL65 AMG models receive a Bang & Olufsen audio system. Two SL65 AMG units are also available with an AMG 45th Anniversary package.
