The Telluride wasn't Kia's first attempt at a full-size SUV, but this time it's been a smash success. The Telluride has moved Kia more upscale with a rugged SUV offering that has three rows of seating and loads of cargo space. This new larger vehicle has really let Kia show what it can do with more room to play.
Telluride was all-new just last year, but Kia has still made a few changes. These include a new dark trim Nightsky Edition and expanded colour choices.
Kia Telluride is offered in EX, SX, SX Limited, and SX Limited Nightsky Edition. All get all-wheel drive, a 291 hop 3.8L V6, and eight-speed automatic transmission.
EX trim starts with 18-inch wheels and tires, LED headlights with auto high beams, a sunroof, heated front seats with power driver adjustments, a heated steering wheel, leather-trimmed wheel and shifter, wood grain trim, three-zone automatic climate control, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, electric parking brake, passive keyless entry and hands-free tailgate, LED interior lighting. It's also loaded with driver assistance features including blind spot monitoring, lane follow assist, forward collision avoidance assist, rear parking sensors and rear cross-traffic assist.
SX adds leather seats, Harman Kardon audio, driver seat memory, a dual sunroof, and a 360-degree camera. SX Limited comes with self-leveling rear suspension, Nappa leather seating with heated second row and ventilation for the front two rows. It also has a nicer headliner and head-up display.
Lastly, Nightsky adds 20-inch black alloy wheels, black roof racks, skid plates, grille and trim, and a black garnish on the door and for the bumper.
The only options here are to pick your colour.
All Kia Telluride models are estimated to hit 12.6 L/100 km city, 9.7 highway.
