History/Overview

Kia has positioned itself as a leader among mainstream electrified vehicles and SUVs, but it hasn’t given up on the compact cars that used to dominate Canada’s new-car sales. The Forte5 is a stylish hatchback version of a car that’s also available as a sedan (which is covered in a separate buyer’s guide entry). Kia introduced the current Forte5 as a 2020 model.
