NEW FOR 2011: - New entry-level GL trim line; former GL trim line becomes GL with Premium Package - Standard Bluetooth on all models - GLS AWD adds standard power liftgate - Exterior colours: Hyper Metallic and Driftwood Metallic added; Continental Silver and Sahara Bronze discontinued For 2011, the Hyundai Veracruz’s base GL trim line is now de-contented for a lower entry level price; the previous GL now becomes the GL with Premium Package. All models add standard Bluetooth connectivity and the GLS AWD receives a standard power liftgate. The Veracruz uses a 3.8-litre V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode. The GL trim line is front-wheel drive only. The GL with Premium Package is front-wheel but can be optioned to all-wheel drive. The GLS and Limited come in all-wheel drive only. All models come with three rows of seats for seven-passenger seating. Features on the GL include 17-inch alloy wheels, air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, body-colour door handles, carpeted floor mats, centre console with storage, chrome window mouldings, illuminated vanity mirrors, fog lights, front and rear mud guards, heated cloth seats, 60/40 fold-flat second-row seats, 50/50 fold-into-floor third-row seats, driver’s auto-down window, CD/MP3 stereo with auxiliary, USB and iPod plugs, leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, heated mirrors with puddle lamps, keyless entry, rear spoiler, variable intermittent wipers, rear washer/wiper, roof rack side rails, tinted glass, cruise control, trip computer, windshield wiper de-icer and woodgrain interior accents. The GL with Premium Package adds dual-zone automatic climate control, solar control glass, back-up warning system, power sunroof, eight-way power driver’s seat and conversation mirror. The GLS adds 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, cooled centre control, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, compass, leather seats, rain-sensing wipers and power liftgate. The Limited adds chrome exterior handles, 115-volt outlet, deluxe illuminated front door scuff plates, auto-dimming exterior mirrors, power-adjustable passenger seat, garage door opener, premium six-CD stereo with ten speakers, power-adjustable pedals, driver’s side memory, proximity key, and rear-seat DVD entertainment system with eight-inch LCD screen, two wireless headsets, remote and centre console video jack.
