CHANGES FOR 2014:

With an all-new 200 on its way for 2015, Chrysler's family sedan and mid-size convertible move into 2014 with no notable changes.

Power is from a choice of 173-hp, 2.4L four-cylinder or 280-hp, 3.6L V6 engines. A four-speed automatic is standard spec in four-cylinder cars, with a six-speed being the upgrade; the six-speed is standard with the V6 engine.

Trims for sedan and convertible begin with the LX and move up through Touring, Limited and S.

In the sedan, LX trim includes manually-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, Uconnect multimedia centre with four-speaker stereo, two 12-volt power outlets, auxiliary input, steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, tilt-and-telescoping steering column, LED-lit instruments, power windows with driver one-touch down, analog clock, floor mats, floor console with sliding armrest, instrument-panel storage bin, leather-wrapped shifter, air conditioning, outside temperature display, rear armrest with cupholders, sun visor vanity mirrors, 17-inch steel wheels, touring suspension tuning, body-colour fascia and door handles, four-wheel disc brakes and keyless entry with security alarm.

In Touring trim, standard kit includes 17-inch aluminum wheels, remote start, heated front seats, eight-way power driver's seat, automatic climate control, front and rear aimable LED reading lights, fog lights and automatic headlights, tire pressure monitor display, leather-wrapped steering wheel, satellite radio, trip computer, six-speaker stereo, rear-seat assist handles, and compass.

Limited models add the six-speed transmission, 18-inch aluminum wheels, leather seats, auto-dimming rearview mirror, bright exterior trim, Bluetooth, one-touch up/down front windows and garage door opener.

S trim brings the V6 engine, 18-inch aluminum wheels with black accents, chrome dual exhaust tips, leather seats with suede inserts, perforated leather steering wheel, black chrome grille, black headlight and fog light surrounds, body-colour side mirrors and door handles, Uconnect 430 multimedia centre and six-speaker Boston Acoustics stereo, upgraded alternator and an engine oil cooler.

Convertible features are similar, but add LED taillights across the line, the power top and a hard tonneau cover.
