CHANGES FOR 2015:
- New model.
With Acura's ILX and RLX models going up in size, the Japanese luxury brand was left with the TSX and TL sitting oddly in the newly-formed lineup. Instead of replacing them with two new models, Acura amalgamated them into one to give us a new car with a new moniker - TLX.
The new-for-2015 Acura TLX relies on the same design language as other newly-designed models at Honda's luxury arm, but it is much more refined in its sheet metal. Two engines can be found under the hood: a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with 206 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque or a 3.5-litre all-aluminum V6 engine with 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The base four-cylinder unit is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic and the V6 is given a 9-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Only the V6 model is available with all-wheel drive.
Trim levels are TSX (base), Technology, V6 Technology, V6 Elite, SH-AWD, SH-AWD Technology, and SH-AWD Elite.

Technology trim adds Acura Navigation System with voice recognition, 10-speaker Acura/ELS surround premium sound system, AcuraLink connectivity system, blind spot information system, cross traffic monitor system, forward collision warning system, hard disk drive media storage, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, keyless access system for rear doors, lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist system, multi-information display with colour TFT display, perforated premium leather-trimmed interior, power folding side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and remote engine starter.
V6 Technology trim adds V6 engine, 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, 18-inch alloy wheels, electronic gear selector, and 8-way power adjustable passenger seat.
V6 Elite trim adds adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, auto-dimming side mirrors, collision mitigation braking system, headlamp washers, LED fog lights, parking sensors, perimeter/approach puddle lights, road departure mitigation system, and ventilated front seats.
SH-AWD trim adds (to TLX base) V6 engine, 9=speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, 18-inch wheels, engine idle stop/start, super handling all-wheel drive (SH-AWD), electronic gear selector, and 8-way power adjustable passenger seat.
SH-AWD Technology trim adds Acura Navigation System with voice recognition, 10-speaker Acura/ELS surround premium sound system, AcuraLink connectivity system, blind spot information system, cross traffic monitor system, forward collision warning system, hard disk drive media storage, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, keyless access system for rear doors, lane departure warning system, lane keeping assist system, perforated leather-trimmed interior, power folding side mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and remote engine starter.
