Refreshed 2021 Jaguar XF Gets Big Price Drop

Jaguar has restyled the XF sedan inside and out, and the luxury car also gets a new infotainment system. The 2021 Jaguar XF goes on sale with one driveline option starting nearly $5,000 less than last year's car.

Updates to the midsize XF sedan start with the new ultra-slim LED headlights. The quad-light design is inspired by the new nose of the F-Type sports car and gets Jaguar's new J Blade daytime running light signature. The grille wears a new mesh with diamond detailing and a new chrome finish along with the larger air intakes that sit below it. The only version offered here will be the R-Dynamic, which means gloss black finishes on the air intakes as well as a gloss black upper rear valance.

Inside, Jaguar Land Rover's Pivi Pro infotainment system arrives on an 11.4-inch touchscreen. The curves of the screen are meant to follow the same profile as the dash panel seamlessly. It's housed in a black-painted magnesium housing.

Pivi Pro uses faster processing and a new electrical system that allows for over the air updates and twin LTE modems to allow multiple functions at the same time without hurting performance. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Jaguar says the system is more intuitive than before.

The interior is also finished with a new drive selector with cricket-ball stitch replacing the previous rotary controller. New interior lighting is meant to look more premium and new front seats offer wider cushions and more heated and cooled area. Canadian models get R-Dynamic sports seats with contrast stitching.

Active Road Noise Cancellation is new and helps quiet the car, while the driver assistance suite adds Rear Exit Monitoring that uses the blind spot sensors to warn of approaching cars or cyclists when you get out. A 3D Surround View Camera is standard along with Junction View and the cars offer a 12-speaker Meridian audio system and wireless phone charging with signal boost.

The 2021 Jaguar XF will come with a 296 hp 2.0L turbocharged four-cyilnder with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic. The 2021 model will start from $60,570, $4,530 less than the 2020 car.
