2020 Dodge Charger Pricing Announced

Dodge has just priced the 2020 Charger lineup. It starts with the V6-powered SXT and ranges all the way up to the Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition. With few changes to the lower trims, the big news this year is the widebody option on the SRT Hellcat and Scat Pack.

The entry-level Charger SXT gets a 292 hp 3.6L V6. It's unchanged from last year, but at $37,445, the Canadian-built sedan is $100 cheaper than it was in 2019. It's also available with all-wheel drive, with the V6 unlocking an additional 8 hp and 4 lb-ft of torque in the process. All Chargers get an eight-speed auto. Next up is the Charger GT which offers the more powerful V6 along with performance suspension upgrades and a more aggressive hood and front fascia. This year it gets new standard 20-inch alloys.

Starting point for V8 power is the 370 hp R/T. This year it gets new alloys and the Hemi badge has a new script. Buyers wanting more power can step up to the Charger Scat Pack, which punches out the V8 from 5.7L to 6.4L and brings power to 485 hp with 475 lb-ft of torque. An updated dynamics package option adds a new flat-bottom wheel to the six-piston Brembo front brakes of last year.

Now the big changes. Well, make that the wide changes, since they aren't that much of a surprise on the 2020 car. The Scat Pack Widebody gets fender flares adding 8.8 cm of total width. Filling the flares are 20-inch by 11-inch wide five-spoke wheels wearing Pirelli 305-wide tires. It gets a Bilstein three-mode adaptive suspension and adjustable electronic power assist steering. There are also new springs and sway bars to round out the package.

Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is the top dog, with a 707 hp supercharged 6.2L V8 that can shove it through the quarter-mile in under 11 seconds. The available widebody adds the same changes as the Scat Pack's version. The Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition gives 10 more horses and a range of cosmetic upgrades like Daytona decals and interior trim changes. It's limited to just 50 for Canada.

The 2020 Dodge Charger lineup will be available to order this fall, arriving at dealers early next year.
