Lincoln Introducing Service Pickup and Delivery

Lincoln has announced that it is launching complimentary pickup and delivery for owners needing dealer service, as well as bringing loaners to customers, to provide a better luxury experience.

The pickup and delivery service will start March 1st, and applies to owners of 2018 model year vehicles. When an owner needs service or maintenance for their Lincoln vehicle, the dealership will come to them.

On top of the pickup and delivery of the vehicle, the Lincoln dealer will leave a Lincoln loaner for the owner to drive while their vehicle is being serviced. The service is complimentary for four years and 80,000 km.

Lincoln Canada Director Terry Erb said that "Lincoln pickup and delivery provides an exclusive and personally crafted service experience that saves clients a true luxury item – their time," adding that it "takes away another little irritant in your life."

It's part of the brand's new The Lincoln Way customer service experience. That includes apps that let you find parking and start your car remotely, but also Lincoln's concierge team that can help with new vehicle purchase decisions, guide owners through using vehicle features, and provide roadside assistance.

Lincoln has also sent customers on about 1,000 dream date events. Those events give potential customers a test drive for an evening or weekend, followed by dinner at a fine restaurant.

Lincoln is the second luxury automaker to offer the pickup service in Canada. Hyundai's Genesis luxury brand began offering the service when it launched in late 2016.
