The Toyota Prius hums into 2018 with just one change. That's to the price. It's going up slightly this year.
The Prius was an all-new design just two model-years ago, so it doesn't get any big changes yet. It continues on with the 1.8L four-cylinder and Toyota hybrid system that earn it a 4.4 L/100 km city fuel economy rating.
All Prius models are well equipped, with even the base car getting Toyota's Safety Sense P. That adds radar cruise, automatic high beams, and emergency braking. It also has heated seats and a 6.1-inch display audio touch screen.
The price is going up this year, slightly. By $425 for the base model, bringing it to $27,480. The fully loaded Prius Technology with Advanced Package is now $32,795, up from $32,365 last year. All trims see a change of around $430.
