Police Release Dashcam in Hunt for Hit and Run Driver

Police are searching for a car involved in a serious collision on October 31st at the intersection of Laureleaf Road and Steeles Avenue in Markham, ON.

A 61-year old woman was crossing through the intersection, in a marked crosswalk, when she was catapulted through the air by the driver of a white Mazda3.

The woman suffered serious injuries, and is currently recovering from a fractured pelvis, severe bruising, and missing teeth.

The video was released by the Toronto Police Service. Toronto police have not yet been able to locate the vehicle involved in the collision and are looking for help from the public to bring the driver to justice.
