Scottsdale, AZ – Don’t let its looks fool you, this is no mere refresh. The 2015 Ford Edge is a whole new crossover, changed and improved from front camera to rear camera.
As a big seller in the five-passenger, mid-size crossover category, Ford needed to make sure the new Edge continued to give buyers what they love about the car while improv

I guess you could say the Ford Edge had a bit of a tough birth. I mean, when your bigger sibling – the Explorer – has been a perennial bestseller, and has been credited with being one of the pioneers of the massive SUV movement, well, “big shoes to fill” is putting it mildly.
Last week, I received an invite to drive the the all-new, second-generation Ford Edge. This time, instead of getting on a plane and driving the Edge in a faraway land , I had the chance to drive it in my own backyard, Toronto. The new Edge, assembled in Oakville, Ontario, will be going global in 100 markets for the first time and it will be making
Ford claims that the Edge is “aggressively styled”. I’d say that’s a bit rich. In my books, the 2017 Ford Edge is a handsome but understated design. It’s not aggressive, but it certainly looks good in a clean, inoffensive way. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. I like it, but I don’t love it.
It launches like out of a catapult off the l
The Louka summer road trip took us to two distinctly different destinations this year. Week One found us in Wisconsin Dells, WI, about 1,000 km southeast of Winnipeg. The town is a mecca for waterpark goers, young and old alike, with poolside attractions that range from lounging by the swim-up bar to huge wave pools and thrilling waterslides. Week
“We don’t do bling,” says Edwin Krenz, Chief Functional Engineer at Ford Performance.
“Did you notice that the sill plates on the ST don’t light up?”
“Cost cutting?” I ask.
“No, it’s our way of letting ST buyers know we don’t put anything on the car just because it lights up,” he says.
Even the grille, itself an ST signature item, is functi

High-tech, luxurious and tidy all at once, Edge’s cabin was one of its most loved attributes.
Following its launch for model-year 2007, the Ford Edge quickly became one of the most prominent crossovers in an ever-expanding marketplace. Built on the Ford CD3 platform and offer
The camera vehicles used to capture the action in movie car chase scenes have a challenging mandate: they must be quick enough to keep up with the action, and be capable of carrying the gear needed to get it on film.
For the latest addition to its fleet, Hollywood's Pursuit Systems teamed up with Ford to turn that automaker's Edge ST performance

While being a jack-of-all-trades when you’re a muscle car or sporty roadster may not be that important, it’s an important aspect to consider when we’re talking mid-size crossovers.
Webster’s online defines “Platinum” as a “precious grayish-white non-cor
I have fond memories of the original Ford Edge – it is rare that I remember exactly what I was doing with certain vehicles since I drive so many of them: but the Edge I remember. It was a 2007 Edge SEL back in March of 2007 just shortly after they had hit showrooms. I drove that Edge to the GTA to pick up a rollbar for my beloved S2000 so
Canada has signed on to a revised version of the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement, a deal that promises to boost exports of Canadian-built Fords to Australia and elsewhere.
According to Australian car magazine GoAuto , the deal now known as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership eliminates that
The Toyota Venza isn’t a new option, but is it still deserving of your attention in a market with refreshed Ford Edge and Nissan Murano recently arriving on the scene?
If you go by simple MSRP, it’s not a good start for the Venza . As equipped, our Venza AWD tester we had tallied up to $40K with the $1,690 Freight & PDI included due to the
Besieged on all sides by turbocharged four-cylinder engines, Nissan is holding the torch with a naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 in the 2017 Nissan Murano .
It’s easy to see why the Murano is so successful.
The grunty six at the heart of the Murano is one of the best-kept secrets in the industry. It’s good for 260 hp at 6,000 rpm and 24
It’s amazing how times flies. Back in the day – 2003, to be exact – Nissan’s Murano came onto the scene as a pioneer among Japanese crossover vehicles. I was impressed with it then, and even though its segment has become jam-packed with competitors, I’m just as impressed with it today.
Everything comes together in a well-rounded package.

A first-ever ST performance model headlines the updates to the refreshed Ford Edge that will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week. This launch logically follows directly from that of its luxury sibling, the Lincoln Nautilus (formerly MKX), which made its debut at the Los Angeles
