2016 Cadillac CTS-V: By The Numbers

2016 Cadillac CTS-V: By The Numbers Gallery

Three generations into its V Series family of high performance sedans, the all-new 2016 Cadillac CTS-V pushes the boundaries of what's possible for a modern luxury car. Longer and leaner than the vehicle it replaces, the CTS-V has also matured, as evidenced by the removal of its manual transmission option and the newly opulent interior that is standard with each and every car.
Of course, having 604 horsepower on tap from a supercharged V8 allows for that aura of civility to be cast off at any time with a simple kick of your right foot, and it would be a mistake to think that just because the new Cadillac CTS-V has been taken to finishing school that it's in any way a less focused track-ready weapon than it has been in years past. As technology marches inexorably forward, so does the performance envelope for Cadillac's most enticing automobile: let's get mathematical with the redesigned CTS-V and examine the numbers that make up its super sedan equation.
