Volvo Releases S60 and V60 Polestar Pricing

Volvo Canada has released pricing for the 2017 Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar models. The cars get a highly modified version of Volvo's all-new 2.0L T6 twin-turbo inline six making 367 hp and 347 lb-ft. The claimed 0-100 km/h times are under five seconds for each car.

The S60 Polestar sedan starts at $67,050 and the V60 Polestar wagon is $69,000. The cars come fully loaded, with no options available. It's an all-in one sports sedan solution. Polestar is Volvo's performance division, much like BMW's M or Mercedes-Benz's AMG. Polestar has modified the engine, tweaked the all-wheel drive system, and optimized the eight-speed automatic.

There is specially calibrated power steering, 20-inch wheels, and slotted brake discs. Behind those wheels are 80 percent stiffer springs and fancy Öhlins dampers. The engine gets stronger connecting rods, new cams, a bigger intake, and a bigger fuel pump to back it all up.

The 2017 Volvo Polestars are limited to 1,000 each of wagon and sedan. Some of those will make it to Canada, with the first arriving this September. So you might want to get your order in fast.
