Subaru Prices 2019 Impreza, Legacy and Outback

Subaru Canada has announced that its Impreza compact and Legacy mid-size cars and the Outback mid-size crossover move into 2019 with the same starting prices as last year's models.

While changes are minor (in fact, the Impreza is unchanged from 2018), the Legacy and Outback gain a CD player in this year's update, a feature that has been notable for its disappearance from a wide range of vehicles in recent years. The other addition to the list of standard features is satellite radio.

Starting MSRPs are $19,995 for the Impreza sedan and $20,895 for the hatchback, $24,995 for the Legacy, and $29,295 on the Outback.

There are modest price increases elsewhere: Impreza Touring, Sport, and Sport-tech models all go up by $100; as do uplevel versions of the Outback. Legacy pricing is carried over across the board.

All three models naturally still come standard with Subaru's calling card, its "symmetrical" AWD system. The Impreza gets its power from a 2.0L, four-cylinder engine making 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque and a choice of five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Legacy and Outback share 2.5L four-cylinder (175 hp/174 lb-ft) and 3.6L six-cylinder (256 hp/247 lb-ft) engines, both of which are matched with a CVT.
