Infiniti introduces Canada-only Q50 and Q60 I-Line Edition models

New "I-Line" styling package for 2019

Montreal, QC – For 2019, Infiniti will be showing us Canadians with some love by introducing the Canada-exclusive “I-Line” versions of the Red Sport trims of both the Q60 coupe and Q50 sedan. I-Line (Inspired Line, though we’re unsure of how inspired that branding actually is) cars get a blacked-out grille, black finish wheels that run 19 inches on the Q50, and 20” on the Q60, carbon fibre rear spoiler and special badging.

Judge for yourself how good it all looks in practice, but we’re more excited of the tasty little nugget dropped in a statement by Adam Paterson, managing director of Infiniti Canada.

“The I-Line editions have been created with a vision to be further developed into an Infiniti Canada sub-brand,” he said. Infiniti says it’s just an idea for now, so hopefully what that entails will become clearer in the coming months. Either way, colour us intrigued.

The Q50 Red Sport I-Line will run you $56,195 (a $3,000 jump on the base Red Sport), the Q60 Red Sport I-Line $65,295 a $4,000 premium over a standard Q60 Red Sport when they start arriving in dealers in February.
