Hyundai Accent Gets World Premiere in Toronto

Hyundai Accent Gets World Premiere in Toronto Gallery

Hyundai is revealing an all-new Accent subcompact for 2018, and they will be doing it at the Canadian International Auto Show next week in Toronto. Why the Toronto show for the reveal? It could have something to do with the popular 2017 Hyundai Accent having nearly one-third of the subcompact market in Canada.
While we wait for the full reveal, Hyundai has released some teaser photos of the new car. What we can tell from those is that the car is getting a big dose of styling from its big brother the Elantra. The photos show Hyundai's big new corporate grille with LED accent lighting. They also show a much sharper line running down the side of the car and C-shaped accents in the taillights. It looks less cheerful and more aggressive than the outgoing car, but that's not a bad thing.
Powertrain and interior details aren't available yet but should come with the reveal next week. As soon as they're available we'll bring them to you.
