The Automobile Journalists Association of Canada has just revealed their Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year award winners at the Toronto Auto Show. 2018 AJAC Canadian Car of the Year goes to the Honda Accord. The 2018 Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year winner is the Chrysler Pacifica.

Nearly 100 AJAC members voted this year on 14 category winners. Those winners were announced at the Montreal Auto Show last month. From the 14 category winners, another round of voting was completed to determine the overall winners for Canadian Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year. This was the first year that AJAC opened the voting to all cars currently on sale, not just models new for this year.

The 2018 Accord offers a choice of two turbocharged four-cylinder engines letting buyers choose between performance and economy. It offers a large and comfortable interior and excellent ride and handling dynamics.

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica van boasts an upscale interior on top of excellent cargo space and flexibility that includes rear seats that can power fold into the floor. It's also the only van that offers a plug-in hybrid option that gives the van a 53 km all-electric range.
