2025 Acura RDX Gets Visual Updates, Better Infotainment

Improved tech, a more convenient cabin, and a mildly refreshed design are all on their way for the 2025 Acura RDX.

The automaker hopes to impress potential buyers as soon as they see it, with a new frameless Diamond Pentagon grille that features a new mesh pattern. Elsewhere, trim on the standard RDX will be finished in a subtle gloss black to match the standard 19-inch Berlina Black wheels.

Meanwhile, the A-Spec trim gets Shark Grey 20-inch 10-spoke wheels, and the RDX Platinum Elite A-Spec gets unique Berlina Black wheels that are also 20 inches in diameter. Buyers will be offered two new paint colour options in the upcoming model year: Solar Silver Metallic and Urban Grey Pearl.

Inside, the RDX gains more storage, larger cupholders, and more streamlined access to the wireless smartphone charger to make the cabin more convenient for occupants. On top of that, the 10.2-inch centre touchscreen now benefits from a widescreen mode to make it more compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

To cap it all off, the RDX Platinum Elite A-Spec now gets full leather upholstery, more ambient lighting effects on the centre console, and acid-etched speaker grilles that are lit for added visual drama.

Power still comes from a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that makes 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission that funnels power to all four wheels.

The 2025 Acura RDX will be available in Canadian showrooms starting in October.
