The Toyota Venza has returned, and this time the high-tech stylish crossover is offering what looks like a pretty great value proposition starting from $38,490, on sale at dealers across the country now.
Like the first time around, the 2021 Toyota Venza is a crossover that puts its emphasis on sleek styling over rugged good looks – a foil to the Highlander in the company lineup. Also unlike the Highlander, the Venza doesn't try and stuff a third row into the back.
Instead, it offers a more expressive nose, sculpted flanks, and a standard hybrid driveline. A 2.5L four-cylinder engine with a trio of electric motors gives the Venza 219 total hp, loads of torque, and an estimated 6.1 L/100 km combined fuel economy.
The LE is the starting trim, but it's far from spartan with 18-inch alloys, a power liftgate, 4.2-inch dash display, leather-wrapped wheel (with power tilt/telescope), heated front seats, wireless charging, and Toyota Connected Services.
XLE adds 19-inch wheels along with a nine-speaker, 1,200-watt JBL audio system, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. There's a 7.0-inch dash display with soft-touch capacitive switches. The power liftgate is hands-free, the wheel is heated, and the seats are ventilated and clad in Softex. It also adds parking sensors and rear cross-traffic braking (blind-spot monitor, cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise are all standard across the board).
At the top, Limited gets a massive fixed panoramic roof, a 10-inch head-up display, digital rearview mirror, and 360-degree camera view.
