2021 Kia Stinger Glows with New Limited Orange Model, Drift Mode

Kia is brightening up the Stinger for 2021, adding a new Neon Orange version of the sports sedan that gives it a little bit more visual sting to match what you'll find behind the wheel and a little more behind the wheel too.

If you're thinking the paint looks like the orange GTS that was sold in the U.S. last year, and wondering about that car's party trick, you're in luck. This Stinger will get that car's D-AWD.

What does that mean? Drift mode.

The D-AWD system comes with a dial that lets you out 60, 80, or 100 per cent of power to the rear wheels for tail out fun. The best the standard car can do is 80 when the computer asks for it.

Even better than the GTS, our orange GT starts with the Limited trim. That means that it gets the same 3.3L twin-turbo V6 making 365 hp and 376 lb-ft, and  limited-slip rear differential to help the all-wheel-drive system find even more traction, but also comes with 19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, electronic adjustable suspension, and that car's Nappa leather interior and Harman Hardon audio.

Pricing for the orange Stinger starts from $51,995, a price increase of $1,250 over a premium paint 2020 model, though we're not yet sure if the standard model will also increase for next year. Just 75 of these murder hornets will be built.
