Lexus has followed up last year's ES sedan redesign with a 2020 update that brings a new infotainment system with Android Auto smartphone functionality (in addition to Apple CarPlay) and a new-generation Enform suite of connectivity features.
The 2020 Lexus ES sees its base price increase by $100, to $45,100 for the gas-powered ES 350, and $47,100 for the hybrid ES 300h.
Like last year, there are ES 350 Premium ($49,250), F Sport 1 ($50,750), Luxury ($56,050), F Sport 2 ($56,450) and Ultra Luxury ($59,950) packages, all of which mark price increases over last year.
ES 300h can be optioned with the Premium ($51,200), Luxury ($58,000) and Ultra Luxury ($69,100) groups, which also represent nominal price increases.
The Premium package newly adds navigation, a 12.3-inch display screen, and power-folding side mirrors, while the 2020 model year F Sport 2 bundle gains navigation, the 12.3-inch screen, and a 17-speaker stereo.
Lexus has carried over the ES's appearance and powertrains. The ES 350 uses a 3.5L V6 making 302 hp, and the ES 300h gets a four-cylinder gas engine that works with an electric motor to generate 215 hp.
The 2020 Lexus ES is in the brand's showrooms Canada-wide.
