The Ram 1500 Classic might be the old version of the company's pickup, which currently sees an all-new model selling alongside it at dealers, but apparently, you can teach an old Ram new tricks. The automaker's latest is a winter-ready Sub Zero package.
Probably much to your chagrin, Ram is reminding us that winter is coming. Though hopefully not anytime soon. To help with that upcoming cold weather, the Sub Zero package adds some useful features to warm you up.
It starts with heated front seats, that come in a 40/20/40 split in diesel grey. There's also a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. For those who like to pre-warm their truck, at the expense of higher fuel costs, it'll come with a remote start system that includes a security alarm.
Other non-winter niceties include a 10-way power driver's seat, Uconnect 3 on a 5.0-inch touchscreen, and satellite radio. Plus an overhead console and 115V power outlet.
Sub Zero will cost $1,495 and is available on Quad or Crew cab versions of the ST, Tradesman, and Express trims. With 4x4, of course, and with any engine choice.
This isn't the first special edition to keep the Classic fresh, with Ram releasing the lifted and off-road ready Warlock earlier this year. The Sub Zero package is available now.
