Nissan has just released 2019 pricing for a wide range of models. That includes the Rogue, which picks up a host of new safety gear, Armada, Titan XD, Versa Note, Sentra, Frontier, and the NV200 cargo van.
The Rogue saw a refresh last year, but for 2019 gets wider availability of the company's Safety Shield 360 active safety suite. That includes lane departure warning, intelligent lane intervention, intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian detection and high beam assist on all trims. Nissan's rear door alert back-seat passenger monitor is also on all trims. Rear emergency braking and sonar are standard on SL trim. ProPilot assist semi-autonomous driving is now standard on SL and available on SV.
All Rogues get a 2.5L four rated at 170 hp and matched with a CVT. Front drive is standard with all-wheel drive available. The base Rogue S FWD starts at $26,798, up $650 from last year.
The Nissan Titan XD gets a new audio system for 2019, offered on top trims. It's a Fender branded system with a 485-watt amplifier and Panasonic Acoustic Motion Control. Buyers can access that system through a new 7.0-inch touchscreen with NissanConnect, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The new screen is standard on all trims. As is rear door alert, and an extra USB port. The SV trim trades the chrome grille for body-colour, and diesel trucks get a larger DEF tank.
The Titan XD is available with a 390 hp 5.6L V8 or a 310 hp Cummins 5.0L diesel V8. The changes apply to both engines, but only diesel pricing is out now. The diesel starts at $56,998, up $1,500 from 2018.
Nissan's biggest SUV, the full-size Armada, adds rear door alert for 2019. It comes with a 5.6L, 390 hp V8 and seating for eight. Nissan added a rear-view mirror camera for 2018. Starting from $65,498, that's up $500 from last year.
The electric Leaf was launched just last year with a 242 km range as well as Nissan's ProPilot assist active safety tech. The only change for 2019 is rear door alert, arriving later in the year. Pricing starts from $36,798, up $800.
All 2019 Sentras get Nissan Connect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Except for the base trim. A new SV Special Edition adds 17-inch alloys, rear disc brakes, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, radar cruise, and a moonroof. Sentra models use a 124 hp 1.8L four and a six-speed stick or a CVT.
The Versa Note hatchback gained a standard rear-view camera and 7.0-inch colour touchscreen display late in the 2018 model year. For 2019, it gets NissanConnect with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as satellite radio, on SV trim. The Versa Note is powered by a 1.6L four with a CVT. Starting from $14,698, pricing is unchanged from 2018.
Nissan updates the 2019 Frontier's infotainment system with a 7.0-inch colour touchscreen on base S and SV grades. The Midnight Edition with black accents continues. A 152 hp 2.5L four and 261 hp 4.0L V6 are available.
Finally, the NV200 Cargo Van is unchanged for 2019. It continues with a 131 hp, 2.0L four and a CVT. Its base price is up $500 to $25,898.
