Lexus has revealed the 2019 edition of its LX full-size SUV is priced to start at $110,300 -- a $1,200 increase over the 2018 model -- and gains a new, limited-production Inspiration Series trim as the new range-topping model.
The new, $2,050 trim is the only option available on the LX, and adds exclusive exterior items like black onyx paint, black wheels, grille and fog lamp trim and black chrome door handles. Inside, the Inspiration Series gets a white interior with black trim and headliner.
Unchanged is the LX's mechanical make-up, which comprises a 5.7L V8 (383 hp/403 lb-ft of torque), an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard, full-time four-wheel drive.
Standard niceties include a heated wood steering wheel with electric adjustments, four-zone climate control, a 19-speaker stereo with rear-seat entertainment system, 10-way driver and eight-way front passenger seat adjustments and heat and ventilation for front and second-row occupants.
The LX also comes with a pre-collision system, lane departure alert and lane keep assist, radar cruise and automatic high beams.
The 2019 Lexus LX is on sale now at the brand's dealerships across Canada.
