2018 Subaru Forester Gets More Tech, Holds Price

Pricing has been announced for the 2018 Subaru Forester. The crossover gets new tech features like improvements to Subaru's EyeSight system, but the price stays the same. The Forester starts at $25,995.

All Foresters get improved child seat anchors. Subaru has also changed the seatbelt reminder warnings to help make sure that all passengers are buckled up.

Limited models get an upgrade to the 7.0-inch navigation and infotainment system that adds new apps like Yelp and Glympse.

For models equipped with Subaru's EyeSight safety suite, which includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warnings, and adaptive cruise control, the speed range of the lane keeping assist has gotten bigger. That lets the system work more of the time on the road. 2.0XT models get a standard windshield wiper de-icer, and EyeSight is now optional on that trim.

Forester 2.0XT Limited trims with the optional EyeSight package now get a new high beam assist feature that automatically adjusts the headlights, dimming the high beams for other cars.

The 2018 Subaru Forester arrives at dealers this month.
