General Motors is recalling its Buick Verano compact sedan to fix misrouted fuel lines that could leak and cause a fire.
The cars in question use the optional 2.0L turbocharged engine, and have fuel lines that run too close to hot exhaust and turbo components. If the fuel lines touch hot exhaust bits, they could degrade over time and leak, and that same proximity to heat could lead to an underhood fire.
In the 70 affected cars, GM is instructing its dealers to replace the fuel line assembly with one that positions the lines further from the exhaust.
