Nissan's Titan XD with the Cummins diesel has been on sale since earlier this year, and now Nissan has announced pricing for the 390-hp 5.6L gasoline V8 powered model which will arrive in showroom in early spring. The gasoline Titan XD (which is the middle-heavy duty 3/4 ton model, not to be confused with the regular 1/2 ton Titan) will be available initially in crew cab, 4x4 configuration only. All 5.6L gas trucks will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Three cab configurations, two bed sizes and three engines will be available at a later date. That will be two additional cabs and one additional engine over what is currently available.
Available trim levels are the Titan XD S ($44,900), SV ($48,800), PRO-4x ($56,450), SL ($62,750 and Platinum Reserve ($66,600). The SV will add trailer sway control and a trailer brake controller to the S. The PRO-4x is the off-road model, with all terrain tires, Bilstein shocks, electronic locking rear differential and skid plates. SL has remote engine start, and heated leather seats. Finally, Platinum Reserve comes with premium heated and cooled leather seating and leather steering wheel, dark chrome exterior trim, 20-inch dark chrome wheels and two-tone paint.
Also available on Titan XD are tow/haul transmission modes, a system to allow a single person to check trailer light function, rear view monitor with trailer guide, and a bed integrated gooseneck hitch.
