Refreshed 2016 Infiniti QX60 priced at $47,400

Infiniti has priced its 2016 QX60, wearing refreshed styling and available with new safety equipment, to start at $47,400, a $1,500 increase over the 2015 model's MSRP.

Highlights of the new front-end look include a revised grille, new headlights, and two new wheel designs in 18- and 20-inch sizes. Inside, all models get graphite weave accents, a stitched upper dash, and a new shift lever shared with the Q60 coupe.

As before, the QX60 is offered with gasoline and hybrid powertrains. The gas model uses a 3.5L V6 making 265 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque, and the hybrid gets a supercharged 2.5L four-cylinder paired with an electric motor for a net power total of 250 hp. Both powertrains share a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and standard AWD.

A step up from the base model brings the QX60 Premium, priced at $52,400 and adding a Bose 13-speaker stereo, driver's seat memory, enhanced intelligent keyless entry with memory, reverse tilt-down side mirrors, remote engine start, navigation, and around-view monitor.

A driver assistance package adds another $2,200 and includes intelligent cruise control, forward collision warning, blind spot warning, backup collision intervention, eco pedal, and front and rear parking sonar.

For $56,900, the Deluxe Touring model comes with a 15-speaker surround-sound stereo, 20-inch wheels, 2nd/3rd row sunroof with power sunshade, ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, quilted front and second-row seats, power-folding third-row seats, and maple interior accents.

Finally, a Technology trim priced at $61,400 adds lane departure prevention, blind spot intervention, front pre-crash seatbelts, forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection, predictive forward collision warning, and a rear-seat theatre system with two seven-inch monitors, remote control, and wireless headphones.

The 2016 Infiniti QX60 is on sale across Canada.
