Heavy with front wheel drive. good traction in winter. has heating and cooling issues. expect repairs. otherwise its a good vehicle. watch out for ignition lock cylinder, heater core and fuel pump repairs.

2008 Chevrolet Malibu

Very dependable car
Safe and reliable car with very little maintenance. Comfortable ride with plenty of room for five adults. My only issue is the turning base is very wide so making u-turns or parking can be quite tight. The car is nine years ld and has been reliable and repairs have been fair.

Great Car
It is a very comfortable and easy to drive car. It is absolutely great on gas. The only down side is that you cannot play CD's or plug in auxiliary.

2011 Chevrolet Malibu

Very Roomy
I was surprised at this vehicle's space and room inside. We are able to comfortably put 3 car seats in the back and all of them have leg room. The front is as equally spacious and the trunk isn't hurting for space either. The seats are comfortable, the interior is appealing and there are plenty of compartments to hold documents and other things you may need. The only downside to this vehicle is that it is slow to speed up. Anytime you need to increase your speed you can feel the vehicle lag. Other than that, a great car with great gas mileage.

Lots of things went wrong with this car
Get me from A to B comfortably enough.

However. lots of stuff has broken on this car over the years,,,things that not should have broke. The drivers side seat weld broke, so the seat bounced, the trunk button wont open the trunk, side mirror button no longer works, etc

2013 Chevrolet Malibu

Reliable
I have had this vehicle since brand new and have absolutely no issues with it. The fuel efficiency is amazing can go quite a ways without having to fill up. I have done nothing to the vehicle for mechanical work other than the required oil changes. This is a safe reliable vehicle that I would highly recommend.

Not as reliable as other vehicles I've owned
My Malibu has spent more time in the shop than on the road. From faulty wheel bearings to electrical issues, it has been a headache. Would not recommend this car to anyone.

it is ok for getting around
bigger than it seems keep up the maintenance and it is ok rusts easy so get sprayed regularly easy to drive and dependable if you take care of it and ok on gas

Very economical
When gas is so expensive My little Malibu does not guzzle
It handles extremely well with very low maintenance.
It is very comfortable with good back seat leg room.
The outside is very streamlined and clean looking.

Great Bang for the Buck
The 2014 Malibu LS isn't a perfect car but it offers many basic features not found in other smaller cars Chevrolet offers at the top end. It's missing a USB port but otherwise the audio experience is fantastic. I have had some minor issues with the keys and power window (had to replace the motor for the window twice in 3 years) but otherwise, the car is in great shape three years in. The auto-stop feature is great and is a life saver - especially when you drive through a lot of construction zones! ;)

Comfortable and reliable
Bought used and have had only moderate maintanance required. Occasional problems with onboard computer saying the air bag requires repair but when taken in nothing is wrong.

Great car for a road trip!
This car is great on the highway. Smooth and steady driving down the road. Economical on fuel. (Highway mileage -6.5 L per 100 km) Easy to handle in town when running errands. Will buy another Malibu for sure. Lots of room for passengers.
And can transport large items in the trunk with the back seats that flatten.

2006 Chevrolet Malibu

Comfortable, great on gas!
We are a family with long legs and we appreciate all the leg room in this car. The back seats fold down in ours for extra storage in the trunk which is already generous. I can usually fit all of my groceries in the trunk alone. Great on gas. Nice smooth ride, we live in a city with rougher roads and the car rode very well. Loved that the console had two levels and cup holders in the back. As a daily driven vehicle, and used on long trips, the kids loved having a place to put drinks etc. I would definitely buy another Malibu, we were very happy with this car.

Comfortable on Long Rides
I rent a Malibu when I have to drive from Manitoba to Saskatchewan for work. I really like the Malibu for the comfort, quiet ride and the Mylink entertainment system. ( I listen to an audiobook using my iphone, overdrive app and bluetooth in the Malibu. Great on fuel and the styling isn't old man sedan, more sporty like me.

2015 Chevrolet Malibu

Loving this car.
I am enjoying every ride of it. I love its economical way of stopping the engine at red lights... Interior style gives the look of a luxury car, much better than camry and accord simple stuff. Great On star service with in built LTE 4G internet. Its not just a car, it comes with great stuff including app for Android and iOS which can help you maintain the car. In short it has some pleasant surprises...

1972 Chevrolet Malibu

Blast From The Past
Until you've stepped foot inside of a car that has 40 years of history behind it, and proceeded to jump in, key on, and cruise you haven't lived. It's such an experience driving these classics around town. The body lines are fantastic, and they are so large one can't help but notice you. Especially, when you give the accelerator a nudge because this puppy has bark. If you ever have the chance to take one for a drive, take it because it's an experience you will not soon forget.
