Volvo S80 1996-2012Change

This car transformed me into a Volvo enthusiast. Its power, handling, style, and features made it a true luxury sedan. Hands down best car I have ever owned and had the pleasure of driving.

Power when you need it, tight turning radius, comfort in the passenger compartment, automatic seat and mirror adjustments when you open the car door, and respect on the highway for speed, appearance, and control.Sophisticated night lighting is elegant and cool, activated by punching the yellow button on the key fob. I love the smoothness of the ride, the easy acceleration, and the cache of Volvo. I refused to even look at Japanese, Korean, or overpriced German cars. Ford. Chevy, and GM cars, although I prefer to buy American, didn't stand up to the solidity and Mercedes-like solid feel of the Volvo. For example, we own and love a solid and classic 1965 Mustang Convertible, but the 2007 Mustang was tinny, rough-riding, and uncomfortable in comparison with the Volvo sedan, notwithstanding the cool convertible fold-up automation. Maybe I'm comparing oranges and apples. but the Swedes have it over Ford, or had it, at least in 2004 when our car rolled off the assembly line in Sweden.

All the technologies on that car makes it a TOTAL secure car to ride and the reason I'm selling it its to buy an other one (VOLVO).

For the power this V8 has, fuel economy is great, especially on the highway. Plus I have never had a car that I feel more comfortable, safe & secure - the ride is awesome.

This car was purchased as a 3 year old lease return and has given us reliable service for the last almost 6 years. It is roomy, comfortable, and an excellent winter car with the AWD. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Hey there guys, This was one of the best cars I ever owned hands down. This cars interior with extremly elegant aswell as functional in every way. Fuel economy was reasonable however it was 102$ to fill but it lasted a loooong time. They are extremely comfortable and the heated seats are a delight. Bottom line is its a VERY safe and elegant car and is completely worth the money! I bought mine with 276k on it and it never let me down. To this day I still regret selling this car. The twin turbo engine pulled extremly hard. Even though its a Volvo it goes like a rocket! Would never hesitate to buy another one. Also a VERY important note, if you get the twin turbo t6 engine model, and your hard on the gas pedal, make sure to check your oil frequently.

This car is great when it comes to driving in difficult winter conditions. Already, it went through many winter storms and performed wonderfully. When tyring to stop in icy situations, no problem with its 'traction integrale'.

Totally reliable, safe, comfortable and a fun car to drive. If I don't drive it for a few days and then get in it again, I am amazed at what a fabulous car it is. When circumstances change, you can bet i will be looking for another Volvo, and most likely an S80 again. There is not a negative thing I could say about this car!

I've owned this car for 3 years. Bought it used for much less than new, wasn't disappointed a bit! Everything I needed. Only problem is the car needs premium fuel, and that the interior has a very simple design!

Purchased new. No troubles. Very comfortable, smooth ride. We had the 5 cylinder and had more power than I needed. Great fuel economy on the highway, but since the car is well built and heaver not as great fuel economy up and down hills or stop and go city driving. All and all a great car if you are willing to pay the price.

I've had this car for many years and it is just very reliable. It may not look the most attractive and it sure does eat up the gas, but it is very safe (like all of Volvo's cars) and it drives well. It's just very dependable and I would recommend it to anyone who values this in a vehicle.

Can't say much I don't like about my volvo. It's a great family car. Lots of space, reliable ride. Nice technology package. Great sound system. Comfortable yet agile ride. The T6 is very responsive. Premium leather seats. Adaptable headlights are extremely bright and work great with every turn.
Navigation system is ackward and not on par with others I used. Ember black metallic paint is a great color, gives a nice rich bronze look in the sun. This is a solid car that I would buy again. Haven't used it in the winter yet, but from what I hear it is one of the best AWD cars.

This is an absolutely wonderful car! It is Volvo's top of the line car, the S80 T6, with its incredible twin turbo inline 2.9l 6 cylinder engine. Great mileage and more power than you could ever need, quite simply this car is a rocket! As for comfort, a 12 hour drive is nothing, Volvo has the best seats out of all Auto Manufacturers. Safety is another reason I drive Volvo's, Volvo is the leader in safety, they create the features that others follow up with later. This car has low mileage and has been meticulously maintained following Volvo's maintenance schedule by Volvo mechanics and will have many many more years of exceptional service.

This car is a dream to drive and if I could, I would keep it forever. This is the 5th Volvo I have owned and will definitely be looking for another one in time!
