After buying the Tribeca used and driving it for 4 years (117,000km total), I can say that it has been comfortable, versatile and very low maintenance. Fuel consumption is mediocre, but it is a much quicker vehicle with a more advanced AWD system than most comparables. Nothing has broken and the regular dealer maintenance is cheaper than other imports (especially German). Despite the good ground clearance , the suspension setup is happier on the road and gets quite choppy on rough surfaces, unlike other Subarus that are just as happy off-road. Rear seat room is limo-like if you forget about using the 3rd row. Solid vehicle.

After 110,000 km of mixed driving that has included full loads with various gear and a sea kayak on the roof rack, the Insight has performed flawlessly. Nothing has broken. Routine maintenance only and average fuel consumption below 5.1 l/100km. My only other vehicle that competes in the reliability department was a 2000 Toyota Landcruiser which was much more expensive and much more heavy duty. Honda has impressed me with this one.
