2003 Pontiac Vibe

Trim: 4-door hatchback

Great economy vehicle with Toyota engine base
I'm really enjoying this car right now. It has unbeatable fuel economy. Good cargo room (folding back seats, plus folding front passenger seat). Perhaps the only negative point I found (which is also a positive) is that the trunk is lined with plastic instead of carpet and items tend to move around if not secured properly, but on the other hand it's extremely easy to clean.
I have the regular (not GT) model and therefore the power is lacking, but I believe with GT it'll more than enough.
Works great as a family car and as a single-driver vehicle because of fuel economy.

2001 Chrysler Neon

Trim: 4-door Sedan

Served like a work-horse
This vehicle served my family well. With the small engine it has great fuel economy. I want to say it was quite reliable, but unfortunately it had a major break (transmission), which we didn't want to fix as it was extremely costly. Until the transmission broke it was pretty much just regular maintenance costs. It was used for everything from grocery shopping to moving of small, but heavy boxes and had quite a bit of mileage on it when we parted with it. For the money I'd say a good working family vehicle.

1993 Chevrolet Lumina

Trim: 4-door Sedan

Nice car for restoration purposes (just change the engine)
It's a create car internally, comfortable with lots of room. The main problem is the engine, it's too big, but does not produce enough power. It would be a nice car to replace the engine in for a smaller or just better performance engine and redo the interior with leather and other bells and whistles. Max speed of the vehicle by the way is set to 140km/hr.

1998 BMW 7 Series

Trim: 740IL 4-door Sedan

Great car (except for fuel economy)
This is an all-in-all a great car inside and out. Very reliable, extremely quite inside with tech options built in that only became available in entry level vehicles in late 2000s (backup sensors, separate climate control for passenger/driver, rear-view mirror dims when a bright light is being projected onto it from a vehicle behind you, etc...)
It has economy mode (where it uses only 4 cylinders out of 8), but even then fuel consumption is quite high (11L to 15L per 100KM) and the only way to control it is pretty much with your foot, but lightly pressing on the gas pedal. In sports mode it's a lot of fun, but with all the speed limits, etc... you can't really have TOO much fun with it. There's plenty of cargo room for a sedan. It even has a specialized compartment for carrying skis. I found this vehicle very reliable, but costly to maintain. If you're not concerned about environmental footprint and maintenance costs, this is an amazing luxury vehicle to own.

1997 Chrysler Sebring

Trim: Coupe
by IvanTrader on 10-17-2012
Sporty, but not sporty enough
I would place this vehicle between a luxury coupe and a sport coupe, as it's lacking a bit in both luxury and "sportiness".
Engine size is descent (2.5L), but lacks power in 3rd gear.
Be aware that when sitting in front seats, it almost feels like you're lying down and feels sometimes as if you're lying on the ground, so if that's not your thing, think twice before buying this car. I found that the maintenance was a little expensive as well, partly because of the Mitsubishi-base components (i.e. engine).
Overall I would say it was a good attempt by Chrysler to create something of a sport-luxury-coupe, but the lack of power and true luxury options makes this vehicle only a good attempt at best.

2008 Volkswagen Golf

Trim: GOLF CITY 2.0L 4DR HB
by IvanTrader on 10-12-2012
Great car for city driving
I've had this vehicle for 4 years on lease and it was a great car to drive by myself or with my family of 4. It's also very good for shopping even large furniture items (I've carried everything in it from desks and beds to hardwood flooring and tiles).
It's exceptional on gas. The ride is comfortable and even a bit sporty because of the type of suspension. It's perfect for a familty of 3 or even 4 (if the kids are small), however as the kids get older more room will be required.
Interior design, although basic - meets the needs. One thing's for sure - it's a very reliable automobile.
