Toyota Yaris 1990-2017Change

When i first got this car I WAS SOO EXCITED. It was my first car and first love. I called her Betsy, she has NEVER let me down nor has she ever given me any problems. It is sad that i have to sell her now but im selling because im expecting my first child in a couple months and i need an SUV.Im sure that whoever purchases her will be more than thrilled with the car.

Whoever purchases this vehicle is receiving a wonderful car! I'm actually sad to let it go as it has been a great little car to zip around in and find easy parking!!! My husband and I have upgraded to an SUV because we are entering a new phase in our lives....starting a family and need extra vehicle room! The car is in great condition (regular maintenance service from Toyota), no accidents and is fantastic on gas (4 years ago I had to drive to California for work and each trip only cost $175 from Toronto to Los Angeles!). I have really enjoyed driving this car! My favourite of four vehicles thus far!

Even with 167,000 km on it, the car runs as smooth and efficient as the day I received it and has been well taken care of.

I really enjoy this vehicle, it is in very good condition. This vehicle was excellent for road trips! Anytime I needed to escape the city for the weekend it never let me down.

It has been very good to me so I hope the next owner will treat her well. The reason for selling is that i'm moving close to downtown and will no longer be needing a vehicle for my commute, however, I plan on getting another in the future.

This is by far the most reliable car I have ever owned.

Never had any mechanical issues with it. Oil changes have always been done in time and aside from a little wear on the interior and rear bumper it is in excellent shape.

My husband bought the Toyota Yaris gently used, and it has been an amazing little car! It's a small car that doesn't feel small at all! It's got lots of power when you step on the gas pedal and it's fuel economy is outstanding! We only put $20/week of gas into the car and it still has lots left over at the end of the week and we do a significant amount of driving!

It also has great truck space for a small car. We can fit our baby stroller comfortably in the truck and still have lots of space for groceries.

All in all, an amazing little car! Thanks Toyota for this gem!

Comfortable, reliable and great on gas. Have never had an issue with this car. Four door model can easily fit a car-seat and two others in the back and lots of room in the trunk for family trips

The Toyota Yaris is not a luxury vehicle. It is not designed for high winds on a very snowy day. It is designed for fuel efficiency, reliability and versatility. We love our little car, that can act like a big car for cargo space when you fold the rear seats down. It has more inside storage than most mid sized and large cars. And, although the Yaris retains it value over the years we will be keeping ours for years to come, or at least 300,000 km.

I have had my Yaris for about 6 months and it has been an absolute delight to drive. It is very responsive and peppy and has been trouble free. I had purchased the car used and had never owned a Toyota before this one. I have had nothing but trouble in the past with my Chevy and Ford cars and only time will tell how this Toyota will hold up. However, I have had no issues with it so far and I have a good feeling that it will continue to impress with time. I am glad I purchased it.

Had to buy this car quickly after my Elantra was totaled in an accident. I tried a few out and then drove a Yaris. I loved the way it handled curves, the road, and on the highway.

The best thing about my Yaris is where they positioned the speedometer. My console is in the MIDDLE of the dash. While it takes a few days to become used to this, it's now my favourite feature.

The Yaris is also great on gas. It usually takes about 37 litres to fill her up, but she goes for an average of 500km on this. If you're only doing city driving, it's closer to 450km. I do a combination and fill the car about once a week. My gas is usually under $50.

There are 2 dislikes though. One, she's lightweight, so you'll feel a good gust of wind (especially on the highway). It's not impossible to control the car, just you feel it in the wheel. The second is a small thing. The cup holders are positioned directly in front of the air vents. If you have a hot drink and you've got cold air on, it'll cool your drink. The opposite holds true.

That said, I'm happy with my car. It's great value for your money!

I love how roomy this car is on the inside but the fact that its quite a compact car on the outside. You dont vene have to sacrifice on trunk space!

I bought this car used in 2008 & have loved it ever since. I've never had any problems w/ it. It's great on gas, is surprisingly roomy and performs great!

My first Toyota was a 2-door, 5-speed Toyota Echo. After it delivered me over 350,000kms to work and a family trip to Disneyland. California, I finally had to trade it in when the chance for 0 interest on the Yaris came up. The Yaris has performed up to the expectations that I had from owning the older Echo. This car gives no indication that it will not last at least as long as the car it replaced. Through snow and rain I feel that I will always arrive where I am going. Maintenance is easy, change the fluids and go. Good milage. The only downside is that I feel that the older Echo was better thought out with reguards to interior storage space. Small price to pay for an excellent car.

Great interior space, can go almost everywhere, in general a value car for your money!
Very economic, even with the A/C on for more than 6 hours a day.

this is by far the best car I have ever driven. It is great on gas....drives easy and is very reliable. Anyone that is looking to buy a small car that is great on gas this is what I would highly recommend.

Very easy to drive and extremely reliable. Back windows a little too small creating a larger blind spot than I would have liked. Drives well in the snow if it has snow tires. It's a very sturdy car for it's compact size. Can be a little cramped on long road trips.

-Fuel Economy when it drives at/ below design speed limit
-Winter tires must be wear
-not a good choice to wear all season tires- easier drifting on snow/ ice
- No Michelin Xi2- for my experience
-use lower gear to stop car when it's snow

This car has been super reliable and really fuel efficient. The interior isn't the most attractive but is surprisingly comfortable and roomy for such a little car, even for the passengers sitting in the rear.
Even in the middle of Edmonton winters, it has started on a dime, and is a really fun drive, easy handling. It is of course a little car, and can get stuck in the snow, but is breeze to push out when need be.
The only reason we are selling this car is because of our growing family, and not being able to easily access two car seats in the two-door hatchback. Otherwise, I imagine this car would have been with us for years to come.

well I have been driving this car for about 4 months now and I am so happy with it. I got it used with 56,000 km on the clock and all I have done is change the oil , it's got 65000 on it now. I love this car. I mean if it was smashed up I'd buy another one without hesitation. I love how easy it is to drive and fun and how reliable it is. I like the feel of the brakes, the great gas mileage (40mpg combined) easy to get in and out of ( I'm male and six foot 2 inches) I will run this car literally into the ground and look forward to many many years of reliable , efficient transportation with a vehicle that is reliable, dependable and holds its value. BUY ONE NOW LOL

I am rating this car five star for a driving instructor standpoint. It has the mid-dashboard indicator panel, it is light so you brakes last longer, just the right space and design, simple enough yet handy, many cup holders, reliable, large trunk to carry plenty of stuff, solid. I would say it's the best car to teach driving with.

Fuel efficiency is great, and the interior design is great. Exterior isn't the best, but it still a great car.

Love this car, Looks small but its quite big inside. Great on the Hwy. Gas comsumtion is fantastic. Changing from a Minivan to a smaller worried me but the Yaris felt so comfortable to drive.

This has been an amazing car, it is small yet spacious on the inside! It is great on gas and looks great too!!

I would recomend anyone buying this car if they are a comuter and put a lot of km on their car. I am also tall, 6ft, and I find that it is a great car for that becuase of the way that it sits high on the road, not like some cars that you feel like you sit in and you are sitting down too low.

highway driving is the only area that I mark it down a bit, on a windy day, you really notice it, but all the good makes up for it!

Comfortable experience, but is a little out dated compared to newer models. HAs warning systems for seatbelts , and runs really good.

Me and my mother got this car during a year end clearout sale. We previously owned a Hyundai Sonata, which was a decent car, but the 2012 yaris was definitly a step up from that. The build is great, its very fuel efficient, and the ride is overall very smooth.

We bought our 2007 Yaris around 2009 and since then have had no problems with it. The fuel economy is great. We've even taken it camping with a 1 year-old although it was quite packed.
