Pontiac G3 2005-2011Change

This car is extremely reliable and has excellet fuel economy. It is a great commuter car on the highway or in town. Would make an excellent first car.

the g3 wave is reliable, amazing on gas as long as speeds dont go to much over 120 km/hr
so many adjustment options for the seating and with the seats folding down,you can fit alot.

This is a great car. It drives great and is a day to day Mom go to the store vehicle, It is great on fuel, has loads of space - compared to other sedans i have been in. Comfortable enough to drive long miles but great on gas to drive in town. Typical family car but with the Inferno Orange colour and the17" rims it makes for a stylish car!

This car was great for me over the three years I used it. It had great fuel economy (~7.5L/100km), was easily maneuverable in tight spaces, very small blind spots, and a peppy engine.

The factory stereo, was great. While the speakers lacked a little, the interface was well equipped. My model had an AM/FM radio with up to 36 presets. CD/MP3 player and an Auxiliary input. The layout was easy to read and use.

The trunk design made frequent moves a snap. The hatchback had a small built-in trunk, but the seats of the trunk could not only be folded down, but folded forward, maximizing the volume for storage. As a student, my the only possession I had that wouldn't fit in the car was my bed.

Add-ons like a power moonroof, power windows, doors, keyless entry and cruise control, made for a surprisingly comfortable driving experience. And because the vehicle was so small, the A/C cooled it down VERY quickly on those hot summer days.

My only gripe with the vehicle is leg room in the back seat. For me, as the driver, this was not an issue, however since I have long legs, any passengers stuck behind me had a bit of a squeeze.

I still love the car, and if I had any practical use for it, I'd be hanging on to it for at least a few more years.

The best fuel efficient vehicle i've had in years. 30-40$ a month to fill the tank.. never breaks down.. no defects..Recalls on parts have fixed the majority of the problems associated with this model.. would buy two if I could! Podium Edition is very nice!

I am in love with this car, it is perfect for a single person who don't travel much. My parents bought me this car for my birthday and i am a university student so it is perfect for me :)

for a comuter car it suits its purpose for family or larger people you mwy want to reconsider. Car was purchased for soe purpose of to and from work it does well on fuel and withsnow tires handles quite well in winter

I'm a college student, and my 2009 Pontiac G3 is the perfect little car to get to where I need to go. The best part about it, is the fuel economy.

this car so far has a broken door, rust on the gas lift and the heat and radio has broken.. lemon. I bought this as my first car because it was cheap but thats what I get.

Yeah it's a cozy fit. Yeah the design is not sleek and sexy but... but the G3 is amazing on fuel. It is reliable and it performs well. I own a manual transmission G3 and love how it rides. It can definately fit 5 people of average size in it. I would only use it though to drive two people around and take cargo. It does well in the 4 seasons but you can for sure feel the wind on strong gusty days. As a commuter car though I have absolutely no complaints as a weekend cruiser I would not use it. Never had to put big maintenance in it. Looking forward to several more years of driving it.

I bought the car new, and has been great over the last 4 years. It hasn't needed much work at all other then regular maintenance, so it has been pretty dependable for me .

From the start had problems with the sensor on the accerlerator pedal. Had it replaced every year for three years. They say they have finally fixed it but have heard that before. Not sure if it is only with my car or has happened to other G3 Waves. Otherwise the car is nothing special, gets me from point A to B, when working properly, with very good fuel economy.

I bought the car brand new and from the start I had problems with the accelerator pedal. Every year I have had to bring it in because the sensor failed and left me in dangerous situations where I would lose acceraltion and only be able to pick up speed after putting the pedal all the way down and slowly accerlerating to 50km/h. Then I would be fine unless I had to slow down or stop. It was almost like being in the movie speed only the bomb was other drivers reactions to my slow acceleration. They say they have finally found the problem and that I should be fine now but we shall see, it is a song and dance I have heard before. I do not know anyone else with this car so I'm not sure if this is just something I've experianced. Other wise the car is a fine little machine. It's nothing to get excited over but it does have good fuel economy.
