I've owned this little beast for 4 years and it's been awesome on the mountain roads I've driven. It's earned my confidence in its powerful acceleration when I NEED to fly with lots of stick-em on the sharpest curves. I haven't had the pleasure of putting a lot of miles on her but wouldn't hesitate to take her across country.

This car gets complements and turns heads where ever you go. The attraction is not just the looks but also the rumble of the 400 through low resistance mufflers. It is sheer excitement on the highway. The car is very streamlined, so rides quiet at highway speeds and over. In this car there is no B-Train hold ups as you can blow by them in seconds. It is also a pleasure when cruising the streets with the windows down. Motorists and pedestrians will give you two thumbs up.

EXCELLENT EXCITING CAR FOR SUMMER DRIVES WITH TOP DOWN. RIDES VERY COMFORTABLE, HAS THE POWER WHEN NEEDED.

Fun car to drive, 6 speed 300+hp with a posi traction rear end. The car gets around 32 mpg on the highway, I am not sure about the city.

Always kept under cover and clean as a whistle, in, out and under. Show room condition and in wonderful shape.
Must be seen. - I hate to see it go.

I had lots of fun with this sports car since I bought it...lots of power for a V6, 3,8L....215hp with the hedders, and with the T-top, it's as much fun then a convertible...I have 3 cars and have to sell it because I'm 60 years old and retired, thank you

This car has tremendous head turning street appeal with it's shiny red exterior and red leather bucket seats interior and red & black door trim. All windows & glass roof are tinted. I have babied this car, and it has no rust on it, as only driven summers. I have also just put 5000 kms. on it, as my husband usually drives us in his car . The 8 speaker Pioneer Alpine stereo system is also an unbelievable sound! I will miss driving it, but am getting into my senior years.

I flew to Toronto 2 years ago and purchased it from an elderly couple in Owen Sound..It was her car and she used it to commute back and forth to Toronto. 6 speeds in the reparkable condition of this one are rare and I feel hot rods need 3 pedals to perform like a hot rod..She always found the clutch pedal a challenge in the traffic tie ups on the highway so in turn the car sat in the garage more than not..when I got the car home I went to work replacing the outdated opti spark and gave the car a Complete tune up..changed the rims and tires...exhaust..rear end gears from 373 to 410 and made it shal we say Perfect...I only put 500 K on it last year and find that with my current commitments it doesn't make sense to keep it...Its priced to Sell and I am taking a considerable Loss at 11,500.00..The car is as nice inside out and upside down as the original paint reflects..I do regret selling it however I am tired of washing it and finding somewhere to put it without having the time to enjoy it. There are No Disapointments With this Car Period.

I love the way it drives on the highway. I have had a lot of comments from many people that they do not see many red Firebirds on the road. It needs a little bit of work,but it would be worth it.

very comfortable in my opinion hasn't failed me yet and always gets me to point a to point b without problems my more reliable car yet.

I have drove many places and have never been more comfortable in any other car I love how it is on gas and all of my friends and family have gave nothing but compliments

my expirience with this car has been really good it has treated me good as i have treated it good it is a really smooth ride and i get good gas milage out of it and i love it

Overall reliability has been poor,spent a lot on repairs over the years. Typical for a sports car. Rust has been a big problem on doors,underbody,rear quarter panels,hatchback,& area around windshield. Paint has been problematic-fading & peeling clearcoat.Stay away from T-top & rare convertible models due to water leaks & body flexing. Mine has been parked since 2008 because it will not pass the driveclean test & as a result not legal for the road.Make sure car has been maintained well & check for underbody rust & paint faults if buying one.

I have ad it for 2 years and really enjoyed it. its fun, good looking and I rarely have an issue with it. Little things such as rust are starting to get to it, but remember its almost 20 years old... Almost a classic these days. Next owner will love it as I do and get good looks from those you drive by. Really solid car!

Car works excellent. To live up to the true name Firebird, it should have more power. The car handles and drives great and isn;t bad on fuel. The the inside and exterior.

i had it for almost 2 years now and i have not had one major problem. i had to replace the battery and alternator besides that it has been amazing. this car is extremely fast with the 6.6L engine, even beat a viper in a race. i named the car Marilyn and every day i have her i learn something new about cars.

Amazing torque, 455 big block offers SO much power, its the greatest time hearing those thick back tires squeal the asphalt. In a standard 6-speed you can have the front end lifting off the ground before you'll expect it. All around GREAT vehicle. Rare and gets only 7 miles to the gallon! haha!

brings back so many memories, trips to the beach... fun times. Drove a 5-speed standard. Could pop clutch in an emergency, liked the heavy front and short back. Classic interior, no room in back for small people, perfect for riding with two

I think its a great car overall. Interior Design could of been better but can't expect much from a 1996 when your living in 2012. . Parts aren't too expensive to fix. Its a beautiful car and fun to drive.
