Hyundai Sonata 2012Change

I've had lots of ups and down with this car. All in all it's great for getting from point A to point B because of the great fuel economy. 3.5 or out 5 stars.

It took me while to get used to the size of this vehicule. But after a few weeks, I would never go back to a smaller car. It is so comfortable. All controls are well designed. For instance, trying to open a locked door will simply unlock it simultaneously, or turning off the ignition key will automatically turn off cruise control. Everything is well thought! Plus the trunk can contain so much stuff! I love this car.

i use it everyday to get to school and back as well as work, i have about 90000 kilometres on it and it still works as if i just got it

Other than oil changes, this vehicle has required no maintenance since purchasing in 2012. It is great on fuel and very reliable/family friends. Would absolutely recommend!

As a Designated Driver, my car never sleeps. I have 370;000 km. on it and still going strong. It still has the original muffler, struts and engine in it. I do regular maintenance on it. Oil changes transmission flushes and fuel injector flush and never had a major problem yet. Yeah its a winner in my books.

I have 315,000 km. on my Sonata and still going strong. Kept up all the maintenance on it and its been great. No major problems. The only complaint I have is the passenger seat is way too low for my passenger. Its not adjustable up and down.

I had it since 2012 and it has been perfect car for me. It has been running great with no probles. I like the ride and convenience and the features of this cat. Especially the manual mode and voice controls. It has made every journey memorable for me. My wife and kids love to ride it. I like how it grips the road, the trunk space and the design. It has been very reliable and comfortable. I also like the Hyundai warranty on this car.

always rented this vehicle while traveling for business. Very roomy and comfortable. Lot's of space for 2 car seats in the back and great for family vehicle.

My parents both bought 2013 Hyundai Sonatas last summer. They do look great, they are ok on fuel and they have enough power too BUT now, summer 2014 RUST one had rust on the trunk lid (just above the Sonata badge and a rust spot on the other side of the trunk lid too) The other one had rust on the inside of the trunk lid (visible rust spots when you open the trunk) all of this after just 1 winter. Plus both cars have been treated with anti rust (or whatever its called). Now with some arguing, Hyundai has accepted to remove the rust on certain areas for free but there still is rust and get this! On the chromed front plastic grille! And they say its not under warranty... Plus on one of the cars the front center armrest rattles when you hit bumps ( fixed it by tightening the screws) and on the other one the rear curtain airbag cover (i think) is vibrating on motorway speeds... I am being very very picky with this review tho... its still a great car for the money but it has little faults, mainly rust...

Smooth riding car, hugs the road nicely,with many power options, and abilitly for add-ons (eg satellite radio,bluetooth)

Simply put, I love this car. Hyundai continues to give the paying public the most car for their dollar. The Sonata is a fret family sedan with enough performance to not be bored behind he wheel. I can't imagine getting a better car for under $35k.

I simply could not have asked for more that what I received with the Hyundai Sonata. In my opinion it has the best feature/price ratio in its class, rivalled only by the Optima. The Turbo 2.0 gives it a nice performance boost while retaining the stylings and comfort of a modern family sedan. All in all a great car.

Good comfortable family car but with grown up styling and comfort. Many features that are user friendly including radio controls on the steering wheel. Front and rear heated seats and dual climate control are great.

I am very happy with my Sonata so far, it has proved to be a great car for long road trips as it has very good fuel range per tank. I have achieved 985km on one tank (70L) and that was doing 100-110km/hr. I love the exterior styling and the trunk is very large and all usable space. I am really not a fan of the full electric steering on the car as it has no road feel at all it is my biggest complaint.

Great car for the guy who has a family and needs to have a grocery getter, but also has all the power you need to have a little fun with the 6 speed triptronic ( F1 padal shift) 276hp 2.0T. and still gets 8L per 100km. Looks great with the dual panoramic sunroof and chrome tiped dual exhaust and 18" alloy wheels..I personally have a dark gray colored Sonata with dark tinted windows..Great sounds system with 6 speakers and a mounted 8inch woofer in the trunk.

One of things I love the most about this vehicule is the look/style and of course the heated seats.

One wish would be for an improvement on the fogging up of the interior of the vehicule.

Great car. I have nothing but praise for this car. When we bought it, we were doubtful about its performance and reliability. But it turned out to be an excellent vehicle. The fuel economy is great. We love the exterior design. The interior is quite roomy and there is a lot of leg space in the front and back. We drive to Toronto from Ottawa once a month and we can get there in about half a tank of gas.
We bought the most basic model and it came with a number of features including bluetooth, heated seats, etc. We also find the car to be quite realiable... havent had any problems since we bought it a year and a half ago.

I have had nothing but good experiences with this car. It's great on gas, performs well all year round.

Heats up fast in the winter, cools down fast in the summer. Comfortable inside, and visually appealing both inside and out.

It's not the best of the best but it's a good car... it's all what you expect for a 2012 Automatic Sedan...

everything has an advantage and of course a disadvantage... the car is light weighted which results in higher acceleration and a better performance... but when the road is windy... it's a different story!

Overall I like it but the rates advertised by Hyundai I've seen them only once! I've just filled the car, reset the trip computer and hit the Highway! but still...

Overall it's a good ride... not the best... just good!

drive in one everyday. heats up quickly, looks nice, and has decent power too. Always starts. I have driven from Ottawa to Vancouver in one and it was very comfortable. It was the cheapest car in its class. We were treated well by the salesman and his support. I got 140000 km on it now and it still runs like new. I was skeptical when I bought it, but it is every thing the salesman said it would be and more.

It gives buyers a huge amount of refinement, driving enjoyment, comfort and style for not a lot of money.

I bought my car new in Dec 2011 and I LOVE everything about it! The hated seats in the back are just great for back seat passengers and all of the power options make every ride super convenient. This car rides like the wind and I have to watch my foot on the peddle lol.. it's not hard to speed since it's such a smooth ride :) I definitely vote for everyone to get out and test drive one today !!!!

I have found this with a lot of Hyundai's. They accent the highlights of many other brands of cars. From multi-touch entertainment with sports and weather updates to a full panorama sunroof and sporty styling. The Hyundai Sonata brings luxury at a budget price.

Performance wise - this car brings it when its most required. Highway acceleration is moderate, breaking and steering are as well.

Overall, I would recommend this car to a budget savvy person looking for a high end experience.

I wanted a smaller car cause of the gas prices whi are going sky high. With my sonata i accomplish that and more.
