Honda Odyssey 1995-2017Change

This van has lasted my family nearly 17 years and still drives as smoothly as when my parents bought it. Very good value for what you get out of it long-term. In addition, is a great van to bring on roadtrips due to the interior sizing and seat move arounds

My good old van is now in car-heaven, but thought to review it anyway. There's a reason why the Ody was the must-have van at the time. It runs and shifts silky-smooth, suspension is perfectly tuned, it handles well, it's roomy and comfy, the upholstery (micro-fiber) holds up amazingly well and is easy to clean. Just a perfect, versatile people or stuff-hauler.
While I still consider it to be a reliable vehicle since it lasted full 18 years, it had a couple of issues: front suspension had to be changed, some rusting showed around the fenders despite having it oil-sprayed, emission sensor failures and the mother of all issues (tranny failure - twice). I was able to put 290,000 km on it but that's not so much for a... Honda

Love this vehicle, interior quality is good and looks nice form exterior. I have almost 250,000 Km's on vehicle and basic maintenance is easy to perform.

I love my Honda and so do my wife and my kids awesome for soccer and football tailgating great on gas for long trips

This car is fantastic for long trips, zipping around town and towing a load of kids to a party. It has great handling and easy to park. The whole family feels safe and comfortable in the van!

good can do everything needed for a family mini-van i would suggest the grand touring model it has some extera bells and whistels to shut the kids up

I've been driving an odyssey for 10 years this particular one is one of the best ever. reasonable kilometers to the gallon a good reliable machine.

The car is very comfortable and lots of space inside with great design. The car drives very smoothly and very comfortable to drive it just about anywhere. I feel 100% safe in it

This vehicle has served us well. It's able to fit 4 car seats of various sizes comfortably and keep my children safe as we travel together.

This is the perfect vehicle for family road trips! There is so much room and depending on how many people are going on this trip you can put the seats down for even more storage. We have had this van since 2003 and it is still in very good condition which shows just how good quality it is. If taken care of these vehicles can last you a life time. The only down side is that sometimes the doors get frozen in the winter as they are automatic, other then that it's an amazing choice for a family vehicle.

I have had my odyssey for like 6 months now and it has been super fantastic. I feel like I am driving a sports car sometimes when the engine gets going.

Interior is very well made and comfortable, not like some mass produced mini vans of domestic brands. Turning radius was better than expected. Air blew cold when needed. Gas mileage was as expected, not great but not as bad as other vehicles I have driven.

We've had our Odyssey for 3 years this month. We have only had to replace the tires at this point. No mechanic has had to see our van, aside from routine oil changes. Very happy with our van!

Love the Odyssey, this is my 2nd one. Once we have experienced the drive and reliability, we just can't go with any other mini van...it just doesn't compare.

I have this car for the last 16 years. Comfortable ride. Very reliable. My previous car I had to change the muffler 3x. Vehicle has power sliding doors which is a convenience as you can open them with the remote when your hands are full after doing grocery shopping. The third row seat fold down and away so you have more cargo space. Middle row seats can be joined as a bench or separate as captain chairs. Rear climate control can be control by second row passenger.

We bought our Honda Odyssey in 2006 to accommodate our growing family. I love the comfortable ride and the flexibility of seating. There are a gazillion cup holders in this van! I like being able to keep things in the many pockets in the driver's door and the front passenger door. The pull up sun shades of the middle row of seats has been quite useful as it shades the passenger but does not block the view out the windows for the driver. My only regret was not getting the higher trim package with the automatic hatch door. I love this van, and I will undoubtedly buy another Honda Odyssey the next time that we need a vehicle!

bought this car last year to go across canada. the best car i ever owned. it works like a charm, i slept in it, ate in it. after i finished my trip i resold my honda. till this day i miss it alot.

amazing vehicle for hauling just about anything. would buy another one in a heart beat. great for kids or cargo. it holds alot. also very very dependable.

We bought ours new and it has been fantastic! It has hauled more kids (that 8th seat was SO handy) and more cargo (4x8 sheets of plywood, and entire tree for our backyard, ++ luggage) than I can remember. It was comfortable to drive and so reliable. Very little maintenance, no breakdowns and a pleasure to own. Pricey up front, but worth every penny in the long run.

We owned our 2006 "Mommy Van" for 11 years. The only reason we sold it was because our kids grew up and we no longer needed this type of vehicle. It has been amazing. It has run beautifully, so reliable and comfortable. Having the 8 seats has come in SO handy when we needed just "one more spot". It has hauled more cargo (including 4x8 sheets of plywood and entire tree for our backyard) more times than I can count.

It makes me sad to see it go because I know it has so much life left in it. I would HIGHLY recommend an Odyssey to anyone looking for a new "Mommy Van".

Not one issue so far! Trouble free ride. Comfortable seats 8 passengers. Sound and entertainment are great.

Having used it for three years on several long trip and short trip, it is an excellent vehicle that provides comfort and eases your travelling. Ideal for long trip travelling, comes with DVD player that keeps young children entertained.

Other than the oil change at 10,000 kms or every 6 months there are no major maintenance work required.

The heated mirrors are blessing in disguise during the winter.

The extra comparment below the in-between space of front and middle seat is ideal for long travels to store beddings or other things.

This a great family van that served us well for 8 years. Smooth, reliably. Fold down rear seats work great. Can use for 7 people or fold down rear seats and use for storage.

We are the 2nd owners, first owners had it for 9 years and 90 k and we have 215 k on it now very little problems either than regular service. Only the ABS brake accumulator needed replacement at 196k. Van very easy on brakes and tires. Stowable rear seat very convenient. Very comfortable driving position and seats, Heat and A/c work very well. Timing belt serviced twice you have to prepare for this cost if you buy a timing belt vehicle. Overall this has been the best vehicle I have ever owned.
